Mounting Suggestions for Mustang Seats

A. Baseplate Features

Solo and passenger seat feature formed steel baseplate with polyurethane bumpers strategically located to prevent them from touching the frame and to minimize vibration.

B. Removal of Stock Seat

1. Remove rear fender screw.
2. If applicable, remove seat strap.
3. Slide seat back and up to remove.

C. Mounting of Mustang Solo

Hardware included: Nut insert kit with instructions.

NOTE: Spool washer shown is used for rear seat mounting only.

1. Install nut insert kit if needed.
2. Engage nose tab of seat into frame.
3. Align chrome rear tab with threaded mount in fender.
4. Push seat down and secure with stock fender screw.

D. Mounting of Mustang Passenger Seat

Hardware included:
One 1/4"-20 chrome Allen bolt
One chrome spool washer
One chrome triangle bracket with shoulder washer.


NOTE: Mustang's passenger seat can only be mounted with a Mustang solo.

1. Remove screw from rear of solo.


2. Align spool washer on top of the solo bracket and bolt down to the fender with the supplied bolt.

3. Screw rear chrome triangle bracket into the proper set of holes.

Dyna Wide Glide - first set of holes closest to rear of seat.
Dyna Glide - second set of holes.

4. Engage slotted bracket on the front of the passenger seat into spool washer.

5. Secure rear of passenger seat to fender with stock screw which was removed from solo.
NOTE: If mounting on a model without the fender clip nut as shown, use the supplied shoulder washer.
