There are three basic components of a motorcycle seat: a baseplate, foam and a cover.
The baseplate or pan is the bottom structure of the seat that attaches to the motorcycle itself. Mustang baseplates are constructed from either marine-grade fiberglass or 16 gauge steel.
The interior of a Mustang seat consists of a controlled density, polyurethane foam.Mustang seat covers are hand-sewn from the highest quality expanded vinyl available.
