Mounting Suggestions for Mustang Seats

A. Baseplate Features


The two-piece, marine-grade fiberglass baseplate is a direct replacement for the stock seat. Rubber bumpers are strategically placed to prevent the seat from touching the frame and fender.

B. Removal of Stock Seat

1. Locate and remove rear fender screw.
2. Locate two side screws.

3. Remove each side screw.
4. Remove stock seat as a one-piece unit by lifting rear end of seat and pulling back to disengage nose tab.

C. Mounting of Mustang Seat (For installation of Solo only, use steps 2-4)


1. Insert passenger seat tab into
slot in solo seat.

2. Engage nose tab. Align two side tabs on seat with frame mounting tabs.

3. Locate and install each side screw.
4. Start each side screw then securely tighten.


5. Install and tighten rear fender screw.
