Mounting Suggestions for Mustang Seats
Honda VT1100 ACE 1995-01, Two-Piece

A.  Baseplate Features (Click on picture for a larger view)

The two-piece seat is built on a marine-grade fiberglass baseplate. Rubber bumpers are positioned to protect the frame and fender. Solos have two powder coated brackets that align with stock side mounts.

B.   Removal of Stock Seat (Click on picture for a larger view)

1. Remove rear fender acorn nut with 10mm wrench.
2. Remove the mounting bolt on each side of the solo seat with a 12mm socket.
3. Slide seat back and up.


C.   Mounting of Mustang Seat


Hardware included:
One nylon washer and two 1/4-20 x 3/4" screws.
1. Bolt the solo and rear seat together using the supplied 1/4-20 x 3/4 screws.
2. Engage nose tab under frame below gas tank, not under gas tank flange.
3. Place nylon washer (supplied) between chrome triangle and fender.
4. Set rear fender screw loosely.
5. Install stock side bolts and tighten.
6.Tighten rear fender screw.
