Mounting Suggestions for Mustang Seats

A.  Baseplate Features (Click on picture for a larger view)

The one-piece, marine-grade fiberglass baseplate directly replaces the stock two-piece seat. Rubber bumpers are positioned to protect the frame and fender.

B.   Removal of Stock Seat

1. Remove rear fender screw.
2. Remove the mounting bolt on each side of seat.
3. Slide seat back and up.

Hardware included: One nylon washer
  
 

1. Engage nose bracket under frame.
2. Supplied nylon washer goes between rear chrome triangle and fender.
3. Secure seat at rear with stock rear fender screw.

Note: Mustang's baseplate is engineered to allow clearance for plastic tabs on side covers.
Side bolts are not utilized
