Baseplate Features

The one-piece, marine-grade
fiberglass baseplate directly replaces the stock one-piece and two-piece
seats. Rubber bumpers are positioned to prevent the seat from touching
the frame and fender.

Removal
of Stock One-Piece Seat

1. Remove
rear fender screw or acorn nut and the mounting bolt on each side of
driver's section, if applicable.
2. Slide seat back and up to remove.

Removal
of Stock Two-Piece Seat

1. Remove the side mounting
bolts, on each side of the solo seat.
2. Remove rear fender screw.
3. Slide seat back and up to remove.

C.  
Mounting of Mustang Seat
Hardware included:
One nylon washer
1. Engage nose tab into receiver at base of gas tank.
2. Slide seat forward to align chrome rear bracket with fender mount.
3. Secure with stock screw or acorn nut.
Note: Side
mounting bolts are not used with one-piece seat.
