Honda Valkyrie Interstate 1999-01

All information is available at www.MustangSeats.com in color with larger images.

A.  Baseplate Features

The two-piece, marine-grade fiberglass baseplate is a direct replacement for the stock one-piece seat. Rubber bumpers are strategically placed to prevent the seat from touching the frame and fender.

B.   Removal of Stock Seat

1. Unlock and pull the nose of the seat up.
2. Slide entire seat forward.

C.   Mounting of Mustang Seat

Hardware required: Two 6mm Allen bolts (Mustang part # 78042) are included at no charge with an Interstate seat order upon your specific request.

1. Attach the rear of the passenger seat to fender just above the taillight, using the stock 6mm Allen bolt. It may be necessary to lift up the rear of the fender to properly engage the 6mm bolt. The front of the seat is secured to the fender using the two (supplied) 6mm Allen bolts.

Note: The two weld nuts under fender are covered with 0.5" round stickers. Remove the stickers before fastening the rear seat.

2. Slide rear of solo into receiver on fender, push nose down into key latch mechanism.
