A. Baseplate Features

The two-piece, marine grade
fiberglass baseplate is a direct replacement for the stock two-piece
seat. Rubber bumpers are positioned to protect the frame and fender.

B. Removal
of Stock Seat

1. Remove one 8mm Allen bolt on each side of the front of the passenger
seat.
2. Remove 8mm Allen bolt at back of passenger seat. Lift seat up to
remove.

3. Remove one 8mm
Allen bolt on each side of solo. Lift back of solo up and slide
back to remove.
4. Unbolt U-bracket
from center of fender. (This will not be needed for mounting
the Mustang seat.) |

Mounting of Mustang Seat

Hardware included: one nylon washer
|
1. Install stock
solo brackets to Mustang solo with supplied 1/4-20
x 3/4" bolts.
2. Slide nose bracket into frame under gas tank. Secure to frame
with stock 8mm Allen bolts, one on each side of solo.
3. Slide metal tongue on front of passenger seat into receiver
on back of solo.
4. Secure rear of passenger seat to fender with stock 8mm bolt,
placing nylon washer between tab and fender to protect paint.
