Sunday Rides are Wonderful Again

Never Again without a Mustang

I purchased your Wide Vintage Touring Seat with backrest approximately thirty days ago for my VTX 1300R, hoping it would make my riding more enjoyable because I am getting ready to attend the Honda Hoot in Knoxville, Tennessee. Let me tell you, I will never own another motorcycle without this seat on it.

I never thought I would have as much control of my motorcycle as I do now; I am even more comfortable when the wind is blowing. In the past, I would not normally ride even on a nice sunny day if the wind was blowing much, but now, whole different story.

Like Sitting on Air

I recently purchased and installed one of your studded Sport Touring seats. What a difference it makes in comfort!!

I am so pleased that I replaced the factory seat; now I feel like I am sitting on air. I enjoy my motorcycle rides so much more now. I can go for hours and not get "numb" and my back isn't aching.

Best Money Spent

Bought a Mustang Studded Sport Touring Seat with driver and passenger backrest about six weeks ago. I have to say that it is the best money spent for my bike; it took every bit of rear end discomfort out of riding for me and my wife.

I just installed a new Mustang seat on my Shadow VLX 600. It is wonderful! 

The stock seat was so uncomfortable. I am new to riding and I love to ride every chance I get, but the stock seat was making me have second thoughts. After about twenty minutes on the old seat the pain would begin and I'd start thinking about going home or stopping to rest my tailbone.

My new Mustang seat is awesome! I just went for an hour long ride with no pain or any discomfort. The riding position is much more natural and comfortable.

No More Tears

Run, Don't Walk

Being of a somewhat skeptical nature, I resisted the recommendations of my dealer and those of your customers on your web page and continued to try to make the stock seat on my VTX1800R work satisfactorily. Having failed miserably, I finally purchased one of your sport touring seats with driver's backrest. It is not only better and more comfortable than the stock seat, it is better by a large order of magnitude.

If visitors to your web site are tired of stopping every hour to ease the paralysis, I would recommend that they run, don't walk, to their nearest Mustage dealer and acquire a new seat. This recommendation should be in the manufacturer's owner's manual.

Butt Never Had it So Good

A few weeks ago, my wife and I went on a road trip from to Farmington, New Mexico, which took us through some very beautiful country. The entire trip was done on our VT1100C cruiser with the stock seat.

The first couple hundred miles on the stock seat weren't bad, but then the pain started creeping in. Mile after mile it seemed to get a little worse. It got to the point that we were stopping every twenty-five miles just to walk around.

After we got back to Denver, a Harley rider we know referred us to your website and I ordered our new Mustang seat. Since I put the new seat on, the butt pain has vanished and we're able to enjoy rides whenever we get the chance. My butt never had it so good!!

Amazed

Just a note to let you know that I'm back from a 1600 mile trip on my new Mustang seat.

I ride a Shadow ACE Tourer which has been a great bike except for the seat Honda puts on it. I would really have to grit my teeth to go for more than an hour without stopping to ease the pain in my butt.

I was amazed that I could ride for over 100 miles and be ready for more on the new seat. The seat alone would be good but add the driver backrest and it's superior to anything else I've ever been on.

There Should Be a Law

I think there should be a law that gives you the option of getting a Mustang seat on a new motorcycle.

Rode my Shadow Spirit for a year and the wife complained each time we rode over 20 or 30 miles. Spent the last 2000 miles on my Mustang Wide Studded seat and it's like a new bike. The complaints from the wife have come to a screeching halt--now it's "when are we going out of town?"

This is by far the best money I have spent on my bike since the original purchase. (Wish I'd had it from the day it came from the dealer; that would have been about 8,000 more comfortable miles.) 

Mustang seats are everything they say and more. I'm not sure what my next bike will be, but for the seat "It's a no-brainer!"

4000 Miles Later

I just completed a 4000 mile trip in about thirteen days on my ACE 750. After getting back, my legs were sore and my shoulders ached, but my back and butt never hurt once on the trip. I couldn't have made the trip without my Mustang. On a stock seat, after 500 miles, it was time to get off the bike and recover for a day.

My Wide Vintage Mustang seat couldn't be improved in any way I can think of. Thanks for such a great product!

Too Comfortable to Trade!

After the first 200 mile trip on my 750 ACE, I was either going to trade the bike or change the seat! Saw your ad in Red Rider and checked out your website.

Bought new seats for my ACE. What a difference! The Mustang seats complete the look as well as being ultra comfortable. It is now a joy to ride all day! They are not only comfortable but provide great back support from the intrinsic design (I did not get the back rest model).

The vintage look of the seat looks perfect and looks so good, that I've ordered the tank bib now to finish off the great new look. I had planned to ride this little bike for about one year and then move up to a bigger beast, but I'll have to keep it for a while 'cause it's too good looking and comfortable to trade! Thanks for saving me about $12k!

Also, I am on the Delphi Strictly 750 ACE forum. You should check out the comments about seats there. The Mustangs are one of the top seats that are wanted and recommended. Just thought you'd like to know that there are a lot of bikers who won't ride without Mustang seats.

Thanks for a Better Ride

I bought my husband a seat for his Magna 750. It was the best investment we have made for the bike so far.

The driver backrest has made a huge difference for him when he rides his bike to work and is stuck in traffic. He does not come home with lower back pain. We could not ride the seat that came on the Magna for more than thirty miles before we had to stop and get off the bike but now, with the Mustang seat, we can ride for hours.

Last year in Sturgis I had your Extra Wide Regal Duke installed on my Harley FXS at your display.

4,822 Miles for Charity

I am a retired US Deputy Marshal from the Eastern District of Louisiana and I have used Mustang’s seats with a driver backrest on every bike I’ve bought since my retirement which included a Kawasaki Nomad and Mean Streak and currently, a Honda 1100 Shadow.

I have completed various rides in the past couple years, such as the Saddle Sore (1,066 miles in seventeen hours and forty-five minutes), the Bun-Burner (1,626 miles in twenty-seven hours and thirty minutes) -- both Iron Butt Association rides from Slidell, LA to West Palm Beach, FL and back, Angel’s Place (hospice for terminally ill children -- 1,071 miles in nineteen hours) and St. Tammany Association for Retarded Citizens “STARC” (1,059 miles in nineteen hours and twenty-five minutes). This is total of 4,822 miles in eighty-four hours and forty minutes. Most of the time I ride by myself and I have more charity rides for pledges planned for this year and next year.

I could not have completed those miles in that time, if not for a Mustang seat with a driver backrest. On all four rides, I only stopped for gas!

I ride between 100 to 500 miles a week with my retired friends. They all wish they had Mustang seats!

My VTX Rides like a Mercedes

I recently purchased your two-piece Studded Seat #75900 for my VTX 1800C. This is the best item you could purchase for the VTX. Now my VTX rides more like a Mercedes rather than an old pick-up.

We both think this is a wonderful riding seat but I only bought it at the insistance of my wife. She refused to take another trip without a new seat.

Worth Its Weight In Gold

I recently purchased a Wide Vintage seat with driver backrest. I have one word to describe your product: AWESOME!! I installed it on my Magna in a matter of minutes and LOVE the support the driver backrest provides!

I live in southwest Michigan and, to say the least, this winter hasn't been kind to non-snow sporting! However, I did get a chance to get about fifty miles in. As for the comfort, I have only one word...WOW!!!

The driver backrest and rump support are second to none. For not riding all winter and still being able to go fifty miles without even having any back pain is a wonder for someone like me. I have a ruptured lower disc in my spine and the backrest keeps me fully supported.

Money Well Spent!

I’m a firm believer in the saying ‘you get what you pay for’ and in the case of a Mustang seat it was absolutely money well-spent! It’s a perfect fit on my Valkyrie and a perfect fit for my backside, too.

I’m A Believer

Thought I ought to let someone know about my experiences with Mustang’s Customer Service Dept.

I had ordered a seat for my ACE from a Mustang dealer that I had done business with in the past. When the seat showed up, I was really pumped. I got the old seat off but couldn’t get the new one to fit. I thought I had been shipped the wrong seat.

I called Mustang and asked to speak with a seat expert. I didn’t catch her name, but I wish I had. She was VERY helpful and VERY understanding.

I described my problem and she made it ‘go away’! I couldn’t wait to get home and try her advice. It worked! The seat fits great and I’m one happy camper.

Can’t thank you guys enough. The seat is better than I expected, even though I thought I knew what to expect. It’s like a completely different bike, not to mention how it looks. Keep it up, folks. I’m a believer.

Everything I've Read is True

Normally I don't write to a company and express my satisfaction over a product, but I must this time.

I just got back from a trip to Florida where I trailer my Magna. While I was down there, I rode about 850 miles over a period of a week on my newly purchased Mustang seat. I must say, I was a little worried I would not be comfortable since I could not go more than seventy-five miles on my stock seat without being very uncomfortable.

Well, it was the most comfortable ride I have ever experienced. Everything I've read about the comfort and looks of Mustang seats is completely true. Not once did I become uncomfortable. You made my trip completely enjoyable. My new seat is the best money I have ever spent on my Magna.

I must say, I began laughing to myself when I was completely comfortable and my fellow riders were complaining of having "numb butts. "  I have and will continue to highly recommend your products to my fellow riders.

Great Product, Terrific Customer Service

I just wanted to take a few minutes to let you all know how wonderful I think your company is.  Not only do you have a great product, but your sales people are terrific.

In my search for seat manufacturers that could supply me with a comfortable saddle, I spoke with your sales rep Rae, who was very warm and patient when I asked her a million questions.  I checked as many manufacturers as I could find on the net, including a couple of custom seat builders.  None had exactly what I was looking for, because they could not match your seats in comfort or price.

I even called "____" and, to my surprise, they did not even have a return policy unless the seat was defective.  I told them what I thought of their policy.  I also told them how generous Mustang was in making sure the customer was satisfied which, as you can imagine, did not thrill their salesperson.

Well today I decided to order a Mustang touring seat for my VT1100 and I am sure I will be very satisfied since I liked the Mustang seat I had on my Vulcan. When I called, Rae was busy so I was put through to Larry, again a very polite and helpful salesperson.

I was in the retail business for eight years and have always felt that the customer should be satisfied; it is hard to find a company today that still believes that. You guys are awesome. You have not only made me a satisfied customer, you have also made me a fan.

100% Satisfying

When I ordered a Mustang Solo seat for my 1800R, I figured there was no way it could be as good as promised. 

Over six weeks last summer I put 5762 miles on it from Milwaukee to the Gulf to the East coast and back--thirteen states and many side trips.  The dragon's tail was the best by far.  No, absolutely no hot spots, no soreness, no tired butt. 

It was a complete 100% satisfying ride because of the seat.  This is the bike and I'm the old guy who did it!!

Still Smiling

I was ready to give up. I could only stand to ride this bike  fifteen miles at the most and then my back was killing me. 

Several years ago, I had a lumbar fusion of three vertebrae in my lower back.  The positioning of the seat which came with my Spirit 750 was the pits.  At my husband's insistence, he ordered me a Mustang seat.  I held my breath as he installed it and told him not to get his hopes up, but I'd try it. 

The attached pictures are after a seventy mile ride this afternoon.  As you can see, I'm actually smiling with no back pain.  Thanks for a terrific product!

All-Round Comfort

I recently ordered your seats for my Valkyrie. The seats are great and well worth the price. After riding the seat for only ten miles or so, I was sold on the Mustang seat.

I've now ridden around 1000 miles on my seats and the difference is unbelievable.  Many bikers have sat on my scoot to feel the comfort of the Mustang seats and, no doubt , when they decide to buy new seats, they'll choose Mustang.

What turned me on to Mustang were the comments of riders on the Internet regarding Mustang's comfort. An older man who had back problems thought he bought the wrong scoot, as he and his wife were so uncomfortable.  He stated the best thing he did was order Mustang seats before trading bikes; now he and his wife can ride much longer distances in comfort.

We usually spend eight hours each day riding during a week-long vacation.  My wife now asks me why I did not get Mustang seats on my two prior bikes.  You learn by experience and the Valkyrie is a keeper, so the seats will be put to good use for years to come.

Being a Deputy for the past fifteen years, my scoot has always been my stress relief.  My wife and I are in our 50's and, if the Good Lord's willing and the creek don't rise, we'll have many more years to ride.

Pure Magic

This is my Shadow VT1100 that was completely stock (with only 8500 miles on it) when I bought it. I ride this bike every day to and from work, plus as many "joy rides" with my local club as possible.

My wife and kids complained of their butts going numb after about thirty minutes of riding.  I looked into the various aftermarket seats available but was quickly discouraged by their prices. So I went about adding other accessories.

Long story short, my family quit riding with me.  Most of my trips are under 100 miles and, although not totally comfortable, they were bearable for me considering my joy from the riding experience in general.

When my dad came to visit with his Harley, he and I began taking longer and longer trips.  That's when I noticed I had to get off and walk around a bit to get the blood back where it belonged-but my dad didn't.  I decided it was time to bite the bullet and order a Mustang seat.

I can't believe I waited this long to change the seat!  It is very comfortable, looks great and was a breeze to install.  (When I say a breeze to install, I mean it took me longer to open the box than it did to install the seat.)   The driver backrest with all the adjustments is pure magic!

I get a lot of comments from the many riders at work about how nice looking the seat is.  Then they see my driver backrest and they're all green after that!

I'm so happy with this bike now that I'm planning a trip to Sturgis for Bike Week--it's around 1200 miles for me, and I can't wait!

Comfort, Style and Quality

I own a VTX1800 and never understood the reason for the design of the stock seat.

I purchased your seat last June. The day after receiving the seat, two other riders and I headed out on a 4100 mile trip. We rode from Mississippi out west and back.

All I can say is the trip was very comfortable with the new seat. The year before we rode to Canada for 3600 miles and the stock seat almost killed me.

Thanks for the Comfort

My wife and I ride a VTX 1300. Great bike except for the seats--they are not made for comfort by any means. After 40 or 50 miles in the seat, my legs and butt were hurting so bad I couldn't stand it; same way for the wife.

A friend who rides with us put your seat on his 1300. He asked me to just sit on his bike and see if I could feel the difference. Well I did and I could.  My wife sat on the passenger seat and her response was "we gotta get one of these."

We came home that day and she ordered a Mustang seat.  We now have them on the bike and all I can say is "Thanks." The easy installation was unreal, everything fit like a glove. Most important is the difference in comfort--no more sore butt and legs.

The Search is Over

The first 6,200 km I put on my VTX 1800C were enjoyable, but on those long hauls my back and butt were protesting mighty loudly. My wife was none too crazy about the stock saddle either. Honda can build a kickass bike, but they're all thumbs when it comes to choosing a saddle.

I picked up one of your Studded Touring seats and rode it to work one day. I can't tell you what a difference it's made.

I've worked in the motorcycle industry for a few years now since retiring from the Navy and have always heard good things about your product. Even recommended that some customers look you up, as positive comments and testimonials were always associated with your saddles.  This time around, I can feel the difference for myself.  I find it actually helps improve control of the bike, as the saddle holds me firmly in place--notably when riding two-up.

We really love the comfort level provided by the Mustang seat. There are so many companies out there in the marketplace that claim to do this but Mustang is the only one I've found that actually delivers on those claims.  Most custom seat companies provide nice products but they're all about being stylish or 'looking cool'. These may be fine for 'bar blasters' but don't do anything for those of us who love racking up the miles.

I've also noticed that there is this air of understated recognition which passes between Mustang riders at a stoplight. They simply notice, nod and smile. It's kind of like an unspoken: "Yeah...that's right...and ain't it comfy?"

A Pleasure to Install

I purchased a VTX1300C three weeks ago and ordered your seat as an option at the time of purchase.

I rode the bike for one week with the stock seat.  My wife rode it with me once for forty miles.  We both hated the stock seat.

It's Fun to Ride Again

I'm an older "returning rider".  I rode in college and when I first joined the military, but sold my motorcycle and stopped riding when I got married: kids, job, mortgage, more responsibilities, etc.

Now, thirty years later and after much discussion and debate with my wife (and a bunch of research), I finally purchased a VTX1300C.  I love the bike.  Hard to explain but a smile from ear to ear and screaming with joy into the helmet became a ritual on the way to work each morning.  The bike rekindled long dormant emotions inside me and made me feel more "alive".

After five days of ownership, I called the service department and they were surprised to find it was already time for the 600 mile check.

I kept thinking the stock seat would "break in" shortly but, at 1200 miles, I wondered if perhaps I hadn't either purchased the wrong bike or grown too old to ride any more.  I'm 6'2" and 220 lbs, and while the bike "fit", the seat didn't.  It got so my legs "burned" and my butt went numb on any ride longer than 45 minutes.  It just wasn't fun to ride because I couldn't get comfortable.  I thought maybe I was trying to do too much too fast, so I didn't ride for a week.  But as soon as I got back on it again, my tail bone remembered.

So, after a brief return to the exhilaration of riding, I was faced with admitting to my wife that perhaps I had acted too hastily.  I didn't want to admit defeat but it was getting harder and harder to hide the fact that my butt hurt, a lot.

I stumbled onto your website, read a bunch of testimonials, and decided to give Mustang a try.  It seemed I was not alone in my misery.  I admit I wasn't "happy" about the price, but it was sure cheaper than the bath I'd take selling a month old bike with 2000 miles on it.

I received the new seat, installed it immediately, rode again and finally relaxed.  The difference is like night and day.  The Mustang seat is not pillow soft, it's just designed right so I now sit at the right angle and am fully supported.  It turns out I bought the right bike after all; Honda just put the wrong saddle on it.  In my opinion Honda know engines, but they don't know seats.

First, the Mustang seat is wider, which looks better on the bike (seems to fit better and hides the tank seam and attaching bolt, which the stock seat did not).  But wider also supports my thighs better, which means my muscles don't have to.  I also feel like I'm sitting "in" the seat, not "on" the seat.  And the back support is great .  I'm not talking backrest, just the design of the driver's seat and the lip of the passenger seat give a great deal of extra support.  It lets you sit upright and rolls the hips to take the weight off the tailbone.  I believe the scientists call it ergonomics.

So for me, this was not a "luxury item" purchase, my Mustang seat is a necessity.  Without it I wouldn't be riding today.  Absolutely the best money I've spent on the bike, and worth every penny. Now I love my VTX even more.

My wife (who is known to tease me about my age) says I needed an orthopedic seat designed just for my ancient cheeks.  I don't think the seat was designed specifically for me, I just know it works.

I was thinking on the way home today, that it's fun to ride again, and the proof is that I don't think about my sore butt anymore when I ride.  Now I can just sit back and enjoy.

I tell you, after riding my Shadow Aero VT750C for about thirty minutes, my lower back and tailbone were killing me. I was fit to be tied!

The more I road, the longer the pain lasted. In fact, for a day or two later, my tailbone would hurt even sitting in a regular chair.

After talking to some folks, I purchased a Mustang seat with a driver backrest. All I can say is, FanTABulous! I no longer have pain in either my back or tailbone. I can ride for hours without squirming to find a comfortable position.

You folks really know how to make a seat comfortable. I recommend a Mustang seat to ANYONE no matter if they ride short distances or prefer to see our beautiful country.

100% Improvement .then a Crushing Blow

I just ordered a seat for my Valkyrie and it got here the day before I left on a four-day ride.

I rode over 1,400 miles and the seat is great - it's a 100% improvement over the stock seat, which weighs about half as much as your seat!

The construction quality (rivets instead of staples) is really good, too.  It's nice to finally get a product that is worth the money.

Sittin' Soft in the Saddle

I recently purchased a new VTX 1300. The first time I went on a lengthy ride (more than thirty minutes), I realized I was in trouble.

I couldn't stand to sit on the factory seat. The stock seat was way too narrow and thin. It was so uncomfortable that I was ready to sell the bike with less than 1000 miles on it.

I frantically searched the internet looking for a replacement seat. Luckily I happened upon Mustang Seats. What a Godsend (needless to say, I'm keeping the bike). The seat was very easy to install and is so comfortable. I love the fact that you can remove and adjust the driver backrest.

A Skeptic No More!

I just sold a Harley Ultra Classic and purchased a 1300 Retro.  Everyone said I was spoiled by the comfort of a dresser. They were right!  I was miserable on the VTX.

I was almost to the point of selling my new bike. A friend suggested that I try a Mustang seat.

I went to your website and read a couple hundred reviews. I was a bit skeptical and thought that some of the reviews were exaggerated. WOW, was I wrong. A skeptic no more!

The Vintage Wide Touring Seat I purchased was like buying a new motorcycle. After my first ride all my skepticism was gone. Not only is the seat VERY comfortable, but it even changes your riding position. It seems to have changed the center of gravity which has improved the handling.

My wife wouldn't even ride on the new bike until I changed the seat, now she will go with me again.

I also want to tell you that I think the only thing better than your products is your customer service.  I also went so far as to tell the Honda dealer that if they would put a Mustang seat on a VTX demo that they would sell more bikes.

So, to all you skeptics out there, this review is not exaggerated!

What Are They Waiting For?

The wait was well worth it. I installed the Wide Studded Two-Piece Seat, driver backrest and sissy bar pad and rode from Long Island to Marcus Dairy in Connecticut.

Man, my butt never went numb and I did not have a sore lower back after the ride. This is besides making my VTX1800R look better than it ever has. Had a lot of great comments on the looks and questions on how comfortable it is.

The Real Payoff

About a month ago I bought a VTX 1300C. I really love the bike except for the seat.

The first trip my wife and I took on it she was in tears after eighty miles and I felt like I was sitting on a rock. As soon as we got back to the house I got online and then called and ordered your sport touring seat.

Thought I'd Died and Gone to Heaven

Two days after buying a VTX 1800 Retro I went on a ride from Texas to Arkansas. The factory seat was so bad it almost ruined the trip. I couldn't wait for it to be over.

I've been riding for over thirty-four years and always on Hondas (including three Goldwings and a Valkyrie Interstate). I had come to believe I would just have to tolerate terrible seats. Then a friend of mine who is a motorcycle officer suggested Mustang seats. I went to your web site, read all the information I could find and ordered a seat with a driver backrest.

As soon as I put it on the bike we rode from north Texas down to Big Bend National Park and back. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. I had no idea I could ride for such long stretches and not feel any discomfort at all.

This seat is definitely the best purchase I've ever made for motorcycling. I also purchased a matching passenger sissy bar pad for my wife and now she rides with me more than she used to.

Like Riding a Completely Different Bike

I ordered a Mustang Wide Vintage with driver backrest for my 750 Shadow Aero only a few weeks ago. I cruised over to the dealer (about 50 miles away) to pick it up this afternoon.

After opening the box and giving the seat a good squeeze, I went ahead and put my new seat on right there in the parking lot. I strapped the factory seat to the back of my bike and took off.

WOW, what a difference. I can't believe that I waited a year to make the decision to purchase one. As a person with a bad back, the driver backrest makes all the difference in the world and the comfortable seat doesn't hurt either! It almost felt like riding a completely different bike!

I stopped by the girlfriend's house on the way home for a test fit and she gave it two thumbs up. She figures she could make our three-state tour without a problem now!

Learned My Lesson

I just received a Mustang seat with backrest for my Magna. I waited over a year to purchase this seat and even had another company make a custom seat--a waste of my time.

I learned my lesson and now I am convinced that Mustang Seats are the way to go. My wife finally has a seat that fits and provides the support and comfort that she needs for road trips.

Wish my Gas Tank was Bigger

Got my Mustang seat for my VTX 1800C at Christmas and finally got some decent weather and took a quick trip. We rode up to Arkansas, about a 1000 mile trip, riding 500 miles a day and I "LOVE" the seat. With the factory seat I could make 300 miles and then my rear was ready to give up.

Installation was easy, fit and finish were very good. Glad I decided to get the seat with the driver backrest; both it and the matching tank bib look great. Great value compared to others.

Looking forward to going to Big Bend soon, just wish my gas tank was bigger so I did not have to stop as often.

Thanks for making a great product. When I get another bike I won't have to deliberate for weeks on which seat to get.

Worth the Wait

Since I ordered my new VTX1300C before it came out, Mustang had not made a seat for it yet.

Not ONE Cheek Shift

Two summers ago I rode 4400 miles in thirteen days on my VTX 1800. Did a lot of "cheek shifting" and "side saddle" riding to get blood flowing and alleviate pain in the toosh. Sometimes the pain was quite severe.

This summer I did 5500+ miles in sixteen days on a Mustang seat with driver backrest on my VTX 1800. I swear to God, not ONE cheek shift or side saddle. No pain at all. Some days did more than 500 miles.

The difference is a lot more than I had anticipated even though I had heard good things about Mustang seats before I bought it. The best $600 I've ever spent.

Not Possible Before

I bought a Mustang seat for my 750 ACE after getting numb butt after about 120 miles of riding.

This past year I have taken two 750 mile rides with the only stops being for fuel and a quick bite to eat. Once when I reached my destination, I called my brother to go ride some more. I never could have done that on my stock seat.

Makes All the Difference

I had to write and let your company know of my experience with one of your seats.

I recently purchased a new Aero and, after riding on it for an hour, my rear was numb. Mustang had a seat to fit my new model so I went to my dealer and ordered one.

When it arrived I put it on and rode all day and only quit because it started raining. It does make all the difference as I was told.

I never write a manufacturer except on a problem but I had to let you know that I was very impressed with the look and comfort of the seat.

Cannot Believe the Difference

I purchased an Aero six months ago and I just received my new Mustang seat. I absolutely love it. I cannot believe the difference it makes.

Impressive Construction

I have put on about 800 miles so far on your seat (#79390) and it has exceeded my expectations.

My first outing after installation was for 250 miles. I did not begin to feel any discomfort until about mile 230. The stock seat on my 750 Aero was good for about 80 miles before the TBS kicked in. The backrest enables me to sit upright with my back straight.

I am also very impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of the construction. I work in high tech manufacturing myself and know good work when I see it. Please express my compliments to the Manufacturing Team.

No Reservations

The studded touring seat for our VTX 1800 R/S arrived last Monday as promised. We took it out for a test ride that night; the difference we felt was immediate.

We took our bike on a long trip this past weekend (seven hours one way) and the seat was great. We had previously purchased a “____” seat after everyone we talked to said it was the best. Well, it wasn't the "best" (at least not for us). The Mustang is a far superior seat.

No More Squirming

I'll make this a short story. I have severe rheumatoid arthritis, am on heavy medication and am getting worse as each day passes.

"New" Lady is a Beauty

Here is my Shadow Sabre 1100 with your seat on it. Looks good! I also bought the Mustang sissy bar pad that matches the seat. When it arrives I will take another picture to send you. (I might have my neopods installed by then also and then the engine area will glow blue.)

How are all of you at Mustang Seats? I noticed that my picture made your latest catalog! Just as an update to you guys, my bike won Best in Show and Peoples Choice at the Honda Homecoming last July and I was on their website for last year's highlights under Rocky Mountain Fever.

After I got back from the Homecoming, I had a nasty "down" but my bike was not totaled. It certainly needed a new makeover, though, so after new paint, and a new Mustang seat, backrest and sissy bar pad, she is a new lady.

I have entered her in two shows since the rebirth (she has won both) and she goes into another show this weekend. She's a beauty. I even studded my saddlebags to match the seat.

Wanted you to know that your saddle saved both my body and my long-awaited, multi-state riding trip.

I took off from San Diego on my Shadow ACE 750 Deluxe. The bike performed flawlessly except for the stock seat. At the end of the day I had virtually no feeling between waist and knees, thanks to the pressure put on my tailbone.

In Salt Lake, I visited Honda-Suzuki of Salt Lake, desperate for help. Kathy Larson fixed me up with your two-piece saddle, which made an incredible difference. Simple installation and instant 10,000% improvement in comfort literally saved my trip.

Could Not Believe the Comfort

Just wanted to let you know that your seat is great!! I am 49 years old and quit riding ten years ago. Six weeks ago I got the bug and purchased a 1300 VTX Retro.

I loved the bike but could not ride across town without my butt hurting. So I went to my dealer and he showed me a mustang seat already mounted on a bike in the showroom; I knew after sitting on it that I had to have it.

To make a long story short I have put approximately 1800 miles on my bike in six weeks and my butt has not hurt since the new seat was installed at 100 miles. I told my dealer I would be a testimonial for him because I could not believe that any seat could be that comfortable.

I recommend that everybody go out as fast as possible and buy a Mustang for their bikes. Thanks!
