Lives Up to Reputation

When I purchased my Vulcan 1500 Classic two years ago, my first modification was a Mustang seat. I have NEVER regretted that purchase!

This year I rode my bike from Massachusetts to Sturgis, South Dakota, to Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, and back to Massachusetts. It was a grand total of 6,125 miles in eighteen days.

It was the most comfortable ride I've ever taken. My back, butt and the rest of me had no complaints at all!!! Thank you, again, for this product that lives up to its reputation.

Great Looks and Nice Feel

I just installed my Wide Vintage seat today on my 800 Classic. It took a whopping three minutes; the hardest part was holding the plastic washer in place while stabbing the bolt in place. (I also have a sissy bar and luggage rack on the bike).

Instant pleasure: great looks and a nice feeling on rear end. By the way, it made my bike look totally different. After taking a ride today, I was very pleased with my purchase.

Thanks from a happy customer.

Never to Old to be Comfortable

After twenty years of not owning a bike, I purchased a Vulcan. After thirty minutes, I felt like I was sitting on needles and my back was killing me. I was ready to sell it (figuring I must be too old at forty-four to be comfortable on a bike).

A friend of mine swore by Mustang seats, so I got the two piece Wide Vintage. First of all, I was impressed with how easy it was to install. I went riding a couple of days later with some friends, and much later, realized I wasn't in horrible pain. I was actually comfortable.

Later I took off the passenger section and that looks great. It's an easy swap from the true cruiser look to being able to carry a passenger. Mustang should be standard equipment on new bikes.

Longer in the Saddle

I am very pleased with my studded touring seat on my Vulcan 1500. I left the day after I got the seat and rode to California, Texas and home today. Seven days on the road and the seat cannot be matched in my view.

I'm sixty-two, have had two back operations and I stayed longer in the saddle than I did when I was thirty years old. I make it a point to tell other riders what a fine product you have.

I forgot to mention that the appearance is something else. I couldn't trade my bike off now if I wanted to. Wouldn't let the seat go. Thanks for a superb product.

I Had No Idea

Oh, what a feeling.

I had no idea how bad the seat was on my Vulcan Classic. All I knew was it gave me a numb "BUT-TOX" after forty miles or so.

I just replaced the factory seat with your Wide Studded #75960 and could feel a difference pulling out of the driveway. After several hundred miles now, I can truly say you make a great seat.

As long as I have a bike it will have a Mustang on it. Thanks again.

Increased "Comfort Butt Time"

Years ago, I bought a Vulcan 1500A with a "comfort butt time" of about fifty miles on the stock seat. I saw a rating of one of your seats in Rider Magazine and I ordered the seat. I was surprised to find my "comfort butt time" with your seat increased to about 400 miles! My passenger had rheumatoid arthritis and even she rode a few 400-mile days on your seat.

I put 85,000 miles on that seat before trading the bike in. Great product!

The Best Testimonial is my Girlfriend's

I can't begin to express how amazed I am with my Mustang seat.

I recently purchased a Vulcan Classic 1500. I average 15,000 - 20,000 miles a year on my bikes. The stock seat was adequate for around town and short trips, but after awhile I experienced the classic Butt Burn.

I had read many articles of praise about the Mustang seat and decided that was the seat I wanted. Before I purchased it the obvious happened. A family friend tells me his buddy, a Vulcan rider, is using the "___" seat (your supposed competition) and loves it. So I try it...BIG MISTAKE... My girlfriend and I headed to St. Augustine, Florida (a mere 150 miles). The idea of the ride was to prepare her for our upcoming 1,450 mile trip to Laconia, New Hampshire.

I should say this was a blessing because we found that the seat sucked!!! Both of us were extremely uncomfortable and it even gave me second thoughts about riding to New Hampshire. As soon as we returned from St. Augustine, I returned that seat with a nice letter of my thoughts on their product.

On this same day, I ordered your Wide Studded with fringed seat combination. Three days later I installed it and six days later we were on the road for the long haul. We never had time to give the Mustang seat a road test, so this was going to be trial by fire. I was uncertain about taking off untested because of the previous short ride on the other seat and having my girlfriend on the back for her first long distance ride added to the tension. Her last ride had not been a pleasurable experience, but being the good woman that she is, she loaded up and headed north, trusting that I was right in choosing the Mustang seat.

We rode 700 miles the first day and to our surprise and extreme pleasure, neither of us suffered even minor discomfort. Day Two: arrived and I feared the sore backside after a night's rest but again I was elated that we weren't even least bit sore. This was great. In conclusion, we rode for twelve days accumulating a hair under 4,000 miles.

I have since told everybody I know about my experience and don't hesitate to provide a testimonial when asked about the seat. I will never own a motorcycle that doesn't have a Mustang seat on it. The best testimonial on this seat is my girlfriend's. She doesn't ride even a fraction as much as I do and she rode in total comfort the whole trip.

Thanks for a great seat. It is my pleasure to own your product.

Double Comfort

I like my Mustang seat so much that I not only wanted to tell you about it but I bought another one! Now I always get comments everywhere I go. I had the Fastback with flames first and then bought the Wide Vintage for my Vulcan 800A.

Immediate Relief

I just had to e-mail you and say "thanks" for the awesome seat.

My wife and I just got back from Sturgis. We drove down on my new Nomad with the stock seat. The trip is about 650 miles for us and by the time we got there we were hurting badly. My wife was even bugging me to let her get off and walk the last ten miles - she was in serious pain.

The first day down there we rode around; still suffering from the trip down. The second day my first stop in Sturgis was at the Mustang site. Now, keep in mind that our butts were already extremely sore, but from the moment we put on our new Mustang seat, we could feel the relief.

Needless to say, the rest of our holiday and the trip home was in comfort. I have never ridden on a finer seat than this one; the comfort is beyond what I expected. The last bike we had was a Gold Wing and we had put on a "____" seat because we heard they were the best. Well, let me tell you that both Kathy and I would argue that, now that we have a Mustang, this is by far the best seat.

Thanks again.

P.S.: I hope that you will post this e-mail on your site because everyone deserves to read this and then experience your seat.

Finally a Product Worth the Cost

I have to tell you that your product is worth every penny of the cost. Your seat gave my 1500 Classic the look and ride I was looking for. Your employees must take pride in their workmanship. Finally, a product worth the cost; such a thing is very rare indeed. A job well done.

Knowledgeable Angel

Last week I ordered a sissy bar pad from a very nice and knowledgeable rep y'all have named Lea. (I had previously purchased a Mustang seat for my Vulcan 1500FI.) Lea listened to me as I explained some problems I had. A company that actually cares about its customers is very hard to find in these times. Companies need more people like Lea to deal with customers hands-on; she is an asset to your company.

I know that I am rambling on about this but, when I am satisfied that someone has helped me and actually cared about my situation, I will tell everyone.

This was my third Mustang seat I purchased over the years and they are the most comfortable seats that my wife and I have ever ridden on--all my stock seats are now barstools. Thank you, Lea, for your outstanding customer service, you are an angel.

Australian Cheers

I ordered a Vintage Solo seat for my Vulcan 800 Classic last month and I just want to tell you how pleased I am with it.

Initially, I was apprehensive that I was doing the right thing as I had never ordered anything through the Internet and I was unsure of the quality and the exchange rate was not favorable (twice the price). However, when I opened the package on arrival I was immediately impressed by the quality. When I put the seat on the bike it looked like a million dollars as it lifted the appearance of the bike immediately. I have never seen another Mustang seat in my town so my bike is unique. The seat also proved to be very comfortable and I look forward to touring with it in the future.

I would also like to congratulate you on your friendly and prompt overseas mailing service, as it only took just over a week.

Cheers from a happy customer.

P.S.: When the exchange rate between the USA and Australia is closer, I will be ordering the fender bib that goes with it.

Like a La-Z-Boy

The stock seat on my 1500 was a real pain in the ...! I couldn’t wait to get my new seat and neither could my posterior. I took a test ride and it’s like a La-Z-Boy lounger.

Thanks for all your help from a new Mustang fan. Sign me "another satisfied Mustang customer with discriminating tastes."

A Smiling Tush

I ordered my Wide Vintage seat for my Vulcan 800B on a Thursday. I received an apology from you folks because it was too late for UPS to pick up that day and I needed the seat for Tuesday as I was going to Americade the following morning.

Low and behold my seat showed up on Monday. I installed it and put over 900 bliss-filled miles on it. My tush "cracked" a smile of relief. Why can’t Mustang seats come on all Kawasaki’s and avoid all the unnecessary, agonizing miles with the "stock seat?"

Your staff is, in one word, WONDERFUL!
