Baseplate
Features
|
One-Piece Touring Seats
are constructed on a marine-grade fiberglass baseplate. The baseplate
is slotted in the middle to allow for the use of a Mustang or stock
Harley-Davidson® driver backrest kit.

B. Removal
of Stock Seat
|
1. Remove rear fender screw.
2. Slide passenger seat back and up.
3. Remove solo mounting bolts located at back of
solo, 5/16"-24 thread on
1994 models or 5/16-18" thread on 1995-96 models.
4. Slide solo seat back and up.

C. Mounting of Mustang Seat
|
Hardware included: Special fender bracket
1. Unbolt special fender bracket from underside of Mustang seat.
2. Secure special bracket to fender using stock solo bolts.
3. Engage front nose clip into tab on frame.
4. Lower rear of seat down to fender aligning two studs on bottom of
seat into special fender bracket.
5. Secure chrome rear fender bracket to fender with stock screw.
6. Fasten special fender bracket to seat with supplied washers and
nuts.
