Mounting Suggestions for Mustang Seats

A. Baseplate Features

The one-piece, 16 gauge steel baseplate is black epoxy powder coated. Carpet protects fender paint.

Polyurethane bumpers are strategically located to prevent the baseplate from touching the frame and fender and to minimize vibration.

Exposed brackets are bright chrome plated.

B. Removal of Stock Seat
1. Remove rear fender screw from underside of fender.
2. Pull seat back and up.

C. Mounting of Mustang Seat
Included hardware: one bolt

1. Engage nose bracket under the stock frame location.
2. Tighten nose bracket bolt.
3. Put the supplied bolt up through the stock fender slot. If you prefer, a chrome rear tab can be added.
4. The seat is spring loaded so it will be approximately 1" off the fender when the nose tab is engaged. Push down on seat to bolt rear down.
