Baseplate Features

The one-piece, marine-grade
fiberglass baseplate is a direct replacement for the stock two-piece
seat. Rubber bumpers are positioned to protect the frame and fender.

B.  
Removal
of Stock Seat
|
1. Unplug
the sissy bar pad.
2. Remove the tool kit.
3. Remove the rubber block inside the tool box.
4. Mounting screw will now be exposed; remove this mounting screw.
5. Slide passenger seat forward and up to remove.
6. Unbolt the two 10mm bolts holding the solo to the fender.
7. (Important: the electronics module is attached to the solo.) Carefully
lift solo off bike.
8. Remove the electronics module from solo.

Mounting of Mustang Seat
|
1.
Bolt electronics module to baseplate of seat.
2. Engage nose tab.
3. Secure to fender with stock bolt.
4. Reinstall rubber block, tool kit and sissy bar pad.
