Beginning to Regret Owning the Bike

I Was Even Considering Selling
Had a shock today: only three days to receive my seat*. Now, that’s service! (I had read with interest the comments from other bikers about how good Mustang seats are–that is what convinced me to make the purchase.)
I have ridden through hell and back with my Marauder. I live in the English Channel on a small island called Guernsey, which is thirty-five miles around. The speed limit here is 35 mph and our roads are in very poor condition. With the stock seats I could just manage a trip around the island before we had to get off for a rest. I was even considering selling this year.
But now, with the Mustang Wide Studded seat fitted to my Marauder, it is a joy to ride. I can ride for as long as I like. I’ll keep the "Rauder" for another couple of years. As "Patrick L." wrote, I really feel I am part of the bike and in full control, especially when cornering. The finish of the seats is very, very good and they look really great.

A 250-Mile "First Quick Blast"
I just bought a Wide Studded two-piece seat from you and when I got it I thought it was going to look too big for my Marauder. When I fitted it, though, it looked great.
I was just out today for the first quick blast and, it was so good, I ended up going 250 miles! Talk about comfortable!
I would recommend your seats to anyone who still has a factory seat. My girlfriend says thanks, too!

Far Superior
I purchased a new seat for my 1500 LC in the spring, and now that I've had a full season on it, I wanted to let you know how pleased I am. I always thought that "____" was the "seat of choice" but I was wrong. I think your seat is far superior to anything on the market.
Also, when I first got my seat, I had a small problem with the mounting bracket for the backrest; your tech people listened and corrected the problem the next day. I can't tell you how impressed I was with the level of service.
You have a rare operation--dealing with Mustang is a pleasure. Thanks again.

Comfort Started with Mustang
Originally bought your seat to increase riding comfort for the wife. First trip with new seat: 267 miles and no "buzz butt" anymore for her. As for me, nothing but total comfort--not to mention the great compliments we've received.

The Best Investment
I recently purchased a Mustang seat for my Marauder. I am not an impulse buyer, so I did research, asked questions and sat on a lot of bikes before I made my decision: a two-piece, Wide Vintage Mustang seat (I wish now I had written down the name of the woman at Mustang I dealt with because she was terrific).
Well, in only three short weeks they arrived. (Actually, I bought two seats; the other is a gift for a friend.) I immediately installed mine; I don't remember ever being more impressed with a purchase in my life.
My wife was always complaining about how the old seat felt, so she and I went for a ride last night and she said it is unbelievable. We both agreed that this is the best investment we have ever made for our bike.
I belong to MIG, an on-line motorcycle group, and I will post my findings there,
because so many times the subject of aftermarket seats comes up. I will tell
everyone my experience--from the initial phone call to the first ride--it was
very impressive.

Making a Japanese Seat Better Than the Japanese
I really don’t want to get into poetry but, "How do I thank thee; let me count the ways"! I can’t remember being so pleased with a purchase. As soon as the saddle arrived, I knew this was going to be good.
I had become totally disgruntled with my Desperado – the Japanese Marauder. When I bought the bike, I was excited about the style, the shine, everything. I soon became very upset over the "feel" of the seat. Never before had I ridden anything that had become so uncomfortable. Even a short tour into the Nagano mountains became a trip not of enjoyment, but endurance.
I can’t believe the same bike can feel so much better with the addition of a "super saddle". The bike handles better, feels better and certainly looks better. I have had several of my Japanese friends ask for details to get one for themselves.
Whichever bike I find myself with in the future, there is one definite; there will be a Mustang saddle on it before it turns 500 kilometers. Thanks for the best service I have EVER enjoyed and for making a Japanese seat better than the Japanese could make it.

I’ve enclosed some pictures of a recent ride I took outside of Tokyo on my Desperado (Japanese Marauder). As for the Mustang seat, I would like to say: "You can’t imagine how good it feels!" But, of course, you can.
The difference in my bike is truly amazing! To be able to get on and drive through an entire tank of gas without shifting my weight–not even once–is a wonderful feeling. If I didn’t have to gas-up, I’d stay on longer; it feels that good. My butt and my back truly thank you!!
As for the appearance, well, you can see how great it looks. Everywhere I go, my Desperado turns heads.

Just thought I'd drop a line to tell you about the new seat on my Intruder. It's too bad you don't have "Netmeeting," then you could see my smile!!
The change in my bike is nothing short of astounding. The looks aside, the feel is totally different, much more comfortable, secure and controllable. I feel much better with the Mustang and I think I can learn to "love again".
My friend Archie and I took a ride to Kanazawa (the west coast of Japan) a bit ago--a wild mixture of super highway, mountains, coast roads and something resembling a cow path, Thank Heaven for the Mustang! There were three of us: two Vulcans and my LC, all with a Mustang. We rode non-stop for four days and not one of us even hinted we had to get off the bike for a rest.
After two bikes equipped with Mustangs, I can say I will never, ever ride without one. Quite simply the best Damn seat in the business....... PERIOD!
I know I'm repeating myself but, "Thanks for making a Japanese seat better than the Japanese could make it".

Making Riding a New Experience

how wide it was, I frowned. Then, when I put it on my bike and rode it, I thought:

Made a Great Ride Even Better
I own a VS1400 Intruder. While the stock seat was reasonably comfortable, the
200 mile ride from my house to the Americade Rally at Lake George, New York
left me happy to get out of the saddle.
I purchased one of your seats while at the rally and had it installed on the
spot. The ride home was a lot more comfortable. That new seat has made all the
difference, making a great ride even better.

My Butt is in Heaven
I recently replaced the stock seat on my Marauder with your one-piece Wide Touring seat. What a difference it made! Before, a sixty or seventy mile ride was about all I could take. My butt was so numb it was ready for the Emergency Room.

New Seat, New Studs, New Look
We have a Mustang seat on our Intruder 1500 LC and love it! Before, we could not ride thirty minutes without going numb. The soft factory seat made the bike handle spongy in a curve. Now, with the new seat, the bike lays into the curve so the bike and I are one. My wife loves the wide passenger seat and wide backrest.
Our sissy bar trunk had small chrome studs and did not look very good with the new seat. We ordered extra studs from you and now it looks great. Totally changed the look of the bike.
Thank you for making a great product to improve our ride—and for being so helpful in making our bike look its best!

The "Best" Just Got Better
I just wanted to send you a short note to let you know how the "best" just got better: my Intruder 1500 LC now sports a Mustang Wide Studded Touring seat. Without a doubt, that is the most comfort that I have experienced on my LC.
The design, quality of workmanship and materials are all excellent. The only "downfall" to the new seat is that I don’t want to get off it!!! Thank you for a really great quality product that not only looks good but, most importantly, FEELS GOOD!!
