Baseplate Features

The two-piece, marine-grade
fiberglass baseplate is a direct replacement for the stock seat and
features rubber bumpers to prevent it from touching the frame and fender.

B.  
Removal
of Stock Seat

1. Unlatch solo
with key.
2. Slide solo forward and up to remove.
|

3. Remove two bolts at front of passenger seat.
4. Slide passenger seat forward and up to remove.
5. Remove hand strap and four rubber pads from fender.
Note: (1/8" thick pads are lightly glued to fender)

Mounting of Mustang Seat

Hardware
included: Two fender washers and u-shaped fender bracket.
1. Engage metal bracket on passenger seat into fender bracket.

2.
Align rubber splash shield, supplied washers, u-shaped solo bracket and
mounting brackets on passenger seat with fender holes.
3. Secure with two stock bolts.
|

4.
Engage rear of solo under u-shaped solo bracket, push nose of solo down
to
engage latch mechanism.
