Baseplate Features

The two-piece, marine-grade
fiberglass baseplate directly replaces the stock two-piece seat and
features rubber bumpers to prevent it from touching the frame and fender.

B.  
Removal
of Stock Seat
|
1. Unlatch
solo with key.
2. Lift solo up and slide back to remove.
3. Remove two 4mm Allen bolts at front of passenger seat; remove helmet
lock bracket and fold rubber flap down.
4. Reach under fender and remove the three 4mm Allen bolts holding passenger
seat to fender.

Mounting of Mustang Seat

Hardware included: Plastic
fender bracket with three 1/4 x 20 mounting screws and nuts.
1. Install
fender bracket with three supplied mounting screws.
2. Engage metal bracket on passenger seat into fender bracket. |

3. Slide passenger seat back
until front brackets line up with holes in fender.
4. Align rubber flap, helmet lock bracket and brackets on passenger
seat; secure to fender with stock 4mm Allen bolts.
5. Slide nose bracket on solo into receiver at base of gas tank, push
rear of solo down to engage latch mechanism.
