A. Baseplate
Features
|
Both solos and rear seats are built on a black, gel coated 3/16" thick
marine-grade fiberglass baseplate. Rubber bumpers to prevent them
from touching the frame or fender.

B. Removal
of Stock Seat
|

1.
Push key in, then turn counter
clockwise
to release seat lock.
|

2.
Remove plastic hinge pin lock.
Push clip off hinge pins with
a
screwdriver or with your finger.
|

3.
Remove seat's tilt limiter cable
from frame. Just push
in, pull out.
|

4.
Slide seat back to release
seat's hinge pins from frame.

1.
Remove the one mounting
bolt
from frame with a 13mm wrench. |

2.
Slide seat forward and
off of fender tongue. |

3.
Remove hand strap
and bolts from fender. |

|
C. Mounting
of Mustang Two-Piece V-Rod Seat
|
NOTE: When installing
Mustang two-piece seat, rear seat must be installed before driver's
seat.
Rear Seat

1.
Align the rear seat's
receiver bracket with
the bike's fender
tongue. |

2.
Slide Mustang seat back
engaging the seat's rear bracket under
the fender's tongue bracket. |

3.
Install the stock seat's 8mm
bolt to the front bracket of Mustang
rear seat with a 13mm wrench. |
NOTE: When mounting Mustang's seat
with the stock sissy bar in place, you must push down on the passenger seat
very hard and compress the foam to engage the bracket.
Solo
1.
Install the supplied 6mm x 35mm long bolts through the
bike's
hinge
mounts, then nylon washers and locknuts.
2. Tighten with a 10mm wrench, do not over tighten nuts.

| 3. Slowly
close seat making sure pin lock aligns with hole in frame. |
