A. Baseplate Features

The two-piece, marine-grade fiberglass baseplate directly replaces the stock two-piece seat. Rubber bumpers are positioned to prevent the seat from touching the frame and fender.

B. Removal of Stock Seat

1. Remove 8mm screw from fender.
2. Slide passenger seat back to remove.
3. Remove 8mm screw behind solo.
4. Slide solo back and up to remove.

C. Mounting of Mustang Seat (Click on a picture for a larger view)

Hardware included: one white washer

1. Slide nose bracket on front of solo into receiver at base of gas tank.
2. Secure rear of solo to fender with stock 8mm screw.
3. Slide bracket on front of passenger seat under fender bracket.
*4. Secure rear of passenger seat to fender with stock 8mm screw.

*Models with 8mm stud- put white washer between fender and the seat's rear chrome triangle and secure with stock cap nut.
