Step #1
To remove stock seat take off rear fender nut, lift rear of seat up then back off the fender.
Now remove the two 6mm allen screws holding the U-Bracket and Solo to the fender.
Lift back of Solo up and off the frame.
Step #2
Reinstall just the 6mm allen screws and tighten.
DO NOT INSTALL THE U-BRACKET BACK ON TO THE FENDER WITH OUR SEAT.
Step #3
Slide the seat nose bracket into the frame receiver and push forward until the rear bracket aligns with the 8mm fender stud.
Place the supplied 1/8" thick 1/2" Black Nylon Washer under the seat bracket and over the stock Yamaha shoulder washer.
Step #4
Install the stock Yamaha chrome washer on top of chrome seat bracket
Step #5
Install the stock Yamaha 8mm acorn nut and tighten with a 14mm wrench.
Note: Some model years require a 12mm wrench instead.
