Baseplate Features
The one-piece, marine-grade fiberglass baseplate is a direct replacement for the stock, two-piece seat. Rubber bumpers are positioned to prevent the seat from touching the frame and fender.

Step #1

Open seat latch by turning ignition key counter-clockwise.

Remove stock seat

Step #2

Remove mounting bracket by removing the three 6mm bolts with a 10mm socket.

Re-install 6mm bolts.

Step #3

Remove 8mm mounting bolt with a 10mm socket


Step #4

Set seat on frame, aligning the rear bracket with the mounting hole in the fender.

Slide the supplied white nylon washer under the bracket and then install the stock 8mm bolt.

DO NOT TIGHTEN YET!

Step #5

Align the seat's nose bracket with the frames latch.

Push the seat's nose down to lock.

Now tighten the stock 8mm bolt with a 10mm wrench.

Turn the ignition key counter-clockwise to unlock the seat so it can be moved to the left to check the engine oil level.
