Mounting Suggestions for Mustang Seats

A.  Baseplate Features (Click on picture for a larger view)

The two-piece, marine-grade fiberglass baseplate is a direct replacement for the stock one-piece seat. Rubber bumpers are positioned to protect the frame and fender.

B.   Removal of Stock Seat (Click on a picture for a larger view)

 
1. Turn key to release nose.
 
2. Slide seat forward and up.
     
 
3. Remove tool bag from frame.
  
4. Re-attach elastic strap.

C.   Mounting of Mustang Seat (Click on a picture for a larger view)
 
1. Slide Mustang rear seat back
into rear u-bracket.
  
2. Fasten rear seat front bracket on top of fender bracket with stock screws.
 
 
3. Slide tool bag into bungee cords on seat base.
Tip solo seat back and into fender bracket, making sure solo is all the way back.
  
4. Push nose down until latch pin clicks into receiver.
