Baseplate Features

The two-piece, marine-grade
fiberglass baseplate directly replaces the stock two-piece seat. Rubber
bumpers are positioned to prevent the seat from touching the frame and
fender.

B.  
Removal
of Stock Seat
|
1. Unlock
solo with key.
2. Pull rear of solo up and slide back to remove.
3. Remove rear fender screw and slide passenger seat forward to remove.

Mounting of Mustang Seat
|
Note: When replacing
the Yamaha accessory one-piece seat, a fender mounting bracket
must be purchased from Mustang (#78047) or from your Yamaha dealer
(#4NK-2475H-00).
1.
Passenger seat is mounted first. Slide rear seat back to engage
brackets on front of rear seat into fender bracket.
2. Secure rear tab to fender with stock screw.
3. Solo is mounted by engaging nose tab into receiver at base
of gas tank and then pressing down rear of seat with locking
latch.
