A. Baseplate

The one-piece, marine-grade
fiberglass baseplate is a direct replacement for the stock one-piece
seat. Rubber bumpers are positioned to protect the frame and fender.

B. Removal
of Stock Seat
|
1. Remove side covers.
2. Unbolt Allen bolts on each side of seat located near nose of seat.
3. Lift nose of seat up and slide entire seat forward to remove.

C. Mounting
of Mustang Seat
|
1. Slide seat back to engage tab at rear of seat into fender.
2. Align front mounting
brackets at nose of seat to holes in frame.
3. Install stock Allen screws.
Notes:
a . If front mounting bracket does not align, give seat a solid
chop back to ensure seat is all the way in receiver of fender.
b . Front bracket is metal--do not let it touch gas tank.
