Right Out of the Box
We purchased a wide touring seat for our Road Star. First test ride was 230 miles--best ride we ever had!!
This seat is firm enough for support but soft enough for comfort. We felt the difference right out of the box and knew it was going to be good.
Quality work on stitching and braiding plus the overall style fits the contour of the bike very well. Installation was as easy as you said--it took longer to take the old seat off then it did to put on the new one.
My husband likes it, too, and he's not easily impressed. Just can't believe we waited two years before we bought it.
P.S.: Attention Wives/Girlfriends: Let him think he's buying a seat for himself (or buy it for him) and the pleasure will be all yours!!

Awesome
Wow, it’s so nice!
Thanks to your telephone rep Alex for getting me my seat so quickly. It totally helped finish off my Road Star; now I'm ready for summer.
The seat is awesome, so much more comfortable than my “____” seat--you were right.

Refreshing Customer Service
I would like to express my thanks and gratitude for your excellent customer service.
I ordered my seat on Thursday and it arrived here the following Wednesday! Wonderful. As well, I e-mailed you a question in the interim and you replied within an hour--also wonderful and almost unheard of in todays "lack of service" environment.
I am looking forward to riding my Royal Star Tour Deluxe with my new
seat but unfortunately have to wait for the rain to stop. I will write back and let you know my impressions of the seat itself but I did not
want to wait to compliment you on such refreshing and excellent customer service!!
Many, many thanks and be assured that the word will spread!

Nothing Left to Do but Ride
I just got my V-Star Custom1100 back from the painters.
I added the tank bib I got from you guys and it made the bike.
There's nothing left to do but ride. Thanks a lot.
|
Amazing
I took my first long ride on the new seat on my 650 V-Star: 87 miles (the longest I have ever ridden because of low back pain) and I had no back pain. Amazing. I really love the backrest, too.
Wow...now that is customer service. I will definitely be spreading the word and looking forward to putting the tank bib on when it arrives.
Thanks so much for a great product and service.

What a Difference
I recently purchased a new Stratoliner and found the original seat to be the most uncomfortable seat that I've ever had on any motorcycle.
I researched the internet and found that Mustang was the most popular seat recommended by other riders. I purchased the #76125 and #76124 seats and what a difference. There actually is back support and a place for your butt.
I would recommend a Mustang seat to anyone who asks about replacement seats. Thank you.
P.S.: I wrote this in my Yamaha customer satisfaction survey and suggested they could reimburse me for the seat but I'm not holding my breath.

I Promised My Butt
Last year I purchased a Mustang seat for my Silverado. I'd had a minor
get-off that damaged one of my leather bags and, since my insurance was
kind enough to replace both, I thought I'd invest in a new seat at the
same time. So this was much more of a styling exercise than it was due
to any real dissatisfaction with the stock seat. Of course the Mustang
seat looked great so I was happy with my purchase.
Well, I recently got back from the "Roar to Reno" Street Vibrations which was the first long ride with the new seat. We rode 4000 kilometres over 6 days roundtrip. Averaging 600 to 700 kilometers a day is about all this 53-year-old carcass can take, but it was a breeze on the Mustang seat. I had no numb bum and no lower back pain whatsoever. I promised my butt I would write you a letter of thanks, so here it is.
I have owned lots of bikes over the years and the Road Star has been as good or better than all of them for the long haul, but I've always just assumed some level of discomfort was the price to pay for being a motorcycle enthusiast. If I had known that this seat was so good, I wouldn't have waited eight years to buy it! I was wrong all these years.
Next time I get another bike (yes dear, there will be more) I will start with the seat and THEN add the chrome!

Comfort and Support
The Mustang seat looks great on my 1600 Road Star and is very comfortable even when just using the solo but even better when using both seats because of the extra lumbar support the pillion seat provides.
Really good product. Thanks.
|
Sweet Seat
I've put 3000 kms on my V-Star 1100 Classic: 1500 were on the stock seat and 1500 on a “____” seat.
Never had a comfortable mile until today!! I finally bought a Mustang and all I can say is WOW!! Sweet seat. No sore back, no sore A%s! Nice job.
Can't wait to get my wife on to experience her first ride on the Mustang---I think she'll soon forgive my purchase! |
Style and Comfort on Two Wheels
It's not often that I send comments on a product. And, by looking at all of the other comments, there is no need for more validation. But I feel compelled to send along my deepest thanks and kudos for a wonderful product.
I got my V-Star 1100 last year and put 7000 miles on the original seat--that's also 7000 miles the seat put on my butt! Of that 7000 miles, only 500 of those were with my wife on the back. Of those 500 miles, 499 miles were spent with her complaining about how uncomfortable she was!
I got my new Mustang seats and sissy bar pad last winter and installed them the first warm weekend.
WOW! What a difference. I didn't think the stock seat was all that bad until I sat on my new one. My wife won't stay off it (not that I'm complaining)! I especially like the design so that I actually have something to lean back on. The rider actually sits "in" the seat instead of "on" the seat. The seats look great too and are top quality.
My sister lives 200 miles away. I made the trip alone a couple of times last summer. Even worse, when my wife came along I had to go on four wheels. This year we'll be rumbling through the mountains and valleys of Pennsylvania in style and comfort on two wheels--the way it's supposed to be!
Many thanks, Mustang. Mustang seats will be the first upgrade I make to any bike I get in the future!

Fantastic Difference
When I first purchased my V-Star 1100 Custom my poor butt just couldn’t take a ride any longer than 40 to 50 miles without becoming numb. I initially thought that I just couldn’t take it anymore due to my age (52).
Well, I went online and found out it just wasn’t me but most people who own my bike model. Then I went to your great web site and ordered a seat.
That was the best investment I have made concerning this bike. What a fantastic difference.
You know what’s funny? The more I ride the bike, the better the seat gets. I mean it is just more and more comfortable.
Thank you for a great product.

Happy Test Drives
I took off the stock seats off my V-Star 1100 Silverado, replaced them with the Mustang two-piece seat with driver backrest. I then added the contoured pad, which mounts to the stock sissy bar.
I tried out the seats on their first test drive, followed by several very happy test drives.
After over 100 miles, I must say the Mustang seats are much more comfortable than the stock seats. The driver backrest is great, which, incidentally, gives me better control of the bike. My darling wife loves her wider seat and backrest.
I would recommend Mustang seats to anyone, and did so with close friends of ours for their Kawasaki Vulcan (they, too, changed the stock seats and are very pleased with their Mustang seats now).
Great job, Mustang!

Can't Keep Us Home
After purchasing my 650 Silverado in May, my fiancé and I would take
evening rides around the local country side and through the small
near-by towns. She could ride for about 30-45 minutes before becoming
quite uncomfortable.
I did some web searching and decided to order your two-piece touring
seat with driver backrest. It arrived when I was told it would and it
was packaged very well. It only took about 20 minutes to install and it
fit perfectly.
As soon as it was on, we went for one of our evening jaunts around the
area.
What a difference for both of us! We both love the seat. My
fiancé was very comfortable and enjoyed riding even more than before.
Neither one of us had any sore butts or numb legs. The backrest was an
added plus for me as well.
Since then, we have ridden to Michigan and Kentucky. Can't keep either
one of us home; we go riding every chance we get.
The best investment I
have ever made for a bike. I will always put a Mustang seat on any bike
I purchase.
Not only does it improve the comfort and ride, it is a great looking
product. We get compliments all the time on how well it looks. Many
thanks from both of us.

Flawless
Just received my Mustang 1100 V-Star Classic Vintage seat and, wow, what a difference in both looks and feel. I was mind blown at the size of the pillion perch and it does perform double duty as a backrest for the rider.
I have only put about 30 miles on it so far but it feels really good. I plan on taking a longer ride to really "feel it out" but anticipate good things.
The change-out was flawless, no pain at all, fits perfect. Thanks for a great product
|
Fits Great Looks Great
I have purchased one of your seats and it fits great, looks great. Super improvement over stock. Thanks.
|
Can't Believe the Difference
I just had to write and tell you what a great product you have. It is the best purchase I could have ever made for my 1100 V-Star Classic.
I can’t believe the difference your seat has made in my riding comfort. I live in Arizona where there are hundreds of miles of back road riding. Since I installed my Mustang seat, a hundred mile ride seems just like I have only ridden a few miles.
It is now such a pleasure to ride all day long. (My riding buddies are really envious of me; I hope they purchase Mustang seats soon.)
Thanks again for a great product at a great price. Your people in sales were wonderful to work with and my seat was shipped within a day.

Addicted to Comfort
Your catalog was very helpful in choosing a seat for my 1100 V-Star Custom. The seat has been delivered, installed and a forty-mile test ride has occurred. Difficult to find the proper words that describe "No Pain in the #&*” but you get the idea....
Editor’s Note: Six months later, Larry wrote…
Last spring I purchased a Mustang touring seat for my V-Star 1100 Custom and enjoyed a number of long rides with comfort.
My only problem was that the bike was too small (or I just out grew it) so a Royal Star Touring Deluxe found its way into my garage.
Now, one cannot continue to ride when one is addicted to comfort, quality and super craftsmanship, so the answer was so simple: a new wide touring seat by Mustang--it's the only logical answer to long distance comfort and fun rides.
Thanks Mustang.

Comfort and Style Down Under
Just wanted you to know that the Mustang Seat set arrived and it fitted easily within minutes—matching the original fittings perfectly.
This seat is the best thing I have ever bought for my XVS1100 Classic (apart from the windshield). My tailbone no longer aches after 50 kms of riding (yes, I have tested it already) and the backrest makes it so much more relaxing when cruising down the highway.
My sports-biker mates reckon my Cruiser now looks a bit like a Police Bike Goldwing style cruiser with the high windshield and driver backrest but hey, it's a darn site more comfortable to ride now and I don't get an aching arse and back cramps from the seating position so I don't give a damn. At 40 years old, I am allowed to be comfortable :o)
All my riding mates’ girlfriends/wives have sat on my pillion seat and they all are now nagging their partners to get one for them as every one of them has stated that it is so damned comfortable. Well done Mustang--a very comfortable seat set.
Am off on a long-distance tour this coming weekend with my girlfriend on the back—heading to Sydney (980klm) then to outback NSW (750klm) and back to Brisbane (720klm) within six days. Would not have even contemplated such a tour with the factory seat. The Mustang Sissy Bar pad (#75138) for my baby to lean back on will have to wait till we get back.
I would definitely recommend these seats to anyone with a Cruiser style bike who wants to ride with comfort (and style).
Cheers from down under.

Could Take a Nap
Received my seat with backrest for my Stratoliner yesterday. Absolutely what I expected and more!
Have had Mustang seats on my two prior bikes (a 750 and a 1500 Kawasaki) but this is by far the best. Fit and finish are superb and the backrest feature is magnificent. I could take a nap going down the road, but I don't think I will.
I am just starting to show the seats off and everyone is very impressed (jealous). Thanks again for designing the most excellent products out there!
A loyal customer.

Quick Service
Hey, I've just got to say how surprised I was on how quickly I received my new Mustang seats for my 1100 Classic. I ordered them on
Wednesday night and, when I came home from work that following Monday, they were sitting in my living room.
They look great. Now I just can't wait until the rain stops. :-)
Thanks again.

Passed with Flying Colors
I have now “tested” my Mustang seat in 43 states. Here’s a quick recap of my latest trip:
- 15 days on the road.
- 6,600 total miles.
- Approximately 160 gallons of gas.
- 15 States and 1 Canadian Province (Washington and Oregon being the farthest points west).
- 7 National Parks/Monuments (Mt. Rushmore, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Craters of the Moon, Crazy Horse, Devil's Tower, Glacier National Park).
- A dozen or so state and national forests.
- 1 tornado, several rains storms and a heat wave.
- Roads that looked like a two-year-old designed them with his or her first crayon (Chief Joseph Scenic Highway and Shell Canyon in Wyoming; Iron Mountain Road and Needles Highway in SD come readily to mind).
- Roads that went hundreds of miles in a straight line (Highway 20 in southern Idaho; the entire state of Iowa).
- 70 mph tight S-curves on I-90 in northern Idaho.
- Several thousand squashed bugs and one bird that lost its fight with the Road Star headlight (several near misses with birds across Montana).
- Time spent waiting for deer, mules, a grizzly bear, elk, ten ducklings and several bison to cross the road to name a few.
- Miles and miles of great scenery, along with miles and miles of really boring scenery, farms and cattle ranches.
I have now ridden a Road Star in 43 of the Continental 48 states and I can honestly report that the Mustang seat works well in all of them!

Do Your Body a Favor
If you want to ride all day and then some, this is the seat.
I've had three spinal surgeries, five discs removed and bone grafts with fusion. Yes, I have metal rods, nuts, bolts, washers and studs holding me together, lol. Had not ridden for the last seven years and I thought I would never be able to ride my Virago again.
When I decided to try and ride again, I was good for a maximum of fifteen minutes on the stock seat. Went looking for a different seat in the chance it would help.
This Old-Coot can ride again thanks to Mustang seats (and my Doc). No I can't ride all day straight, but a few hrs. at a time is darn good considering. It ain't the seat stopping me, it's the worn-out body.
If you're going to really ride, do your body a favor. Give it the seat it needs to last and never, ever ride in pain. Go get yourself a good seat: Mustang! It may cost, but it pays.
Thank you, Mustang.

P.S.: Mamma (Peg) also has a Mustang seat on her Suzuki Marauder 800 and loves it. Attached is a pic of both of our bikes (we both have the Tank Bibs as well). She thinks hers is better than mine: "NOT." What you think??
|
Brownie Points for Comfort
I have already accumulated about 500 miles in my new saddle; the seat is great. I couldn't ask for anything better to complement the looks of my Road Star Silverado.
I now feel I am seated in the bike, rather than just on it and the comfortable pillion has won me a bag full of "brownie points" from the better half!
Thanks.

Pretty Dang Good Lookin'
Mustang -- quality, comfort, longevity and pretty dang good lookin' too!
I got mine about three years and 20,000 miles ago. As the old saying goes "Stock Sucks" and the V-Star stocker was like sitting on a brick. Now I'm proud of my 650 V-Star!

Never Been More Comfortable
Like so many others, I must give your company the “kudos” you so richly deserve.
I purchased a V-Star 1100 Custom with the stock seats. I thought my rear-end would get used to the seat but, over time, I experienced more and more “numbness.” Even riding to and from work became an uncomfortable ride. My wife complained after only one ride around the block!
For over three weeks (daily), I researched the Internet thoroughly for the best seat available (at an affordable price). Everywhere I looked Mustang Seats received high praises; I could not find one bad remark. I was convinced a Mustang Seat had to be the way to go.
I received my seat from an Authorized Dealer on a Friday but had to wait until Saturday morning to put it on. I installed the seat in about ten minutes and took the bike out for a ride.
I thought there had to be some “break in time.” Needless to say I was dead wrong. I've never been more comfortable riding in my life. It seems the seat was specifically made to fit my hind end (I'm 6'0” and 315 lbs.).
Mustang Seats will be the only recommendation I give to anyone. In fact, whenever anyone asks about my bike, the first thing I point to is my Mustang seats.
Thank you for an awesome product!

Editor’s Note: About a month later, Thomas wrote again…
Having the seat on my bike now for a little over a month, I have never had a more enjoyable ride! The only thoughts I have while I ride (besides the scenery) is “What a Great Seat!”.
When someone asks about my bike, my reply is usually “V-Star 1100 Custom with MUSTANG SEATS.” I don’t really go into too much detail about the bike but I’ll spend a good 5-10 minutes going over my research and the comfort your seats provide.

Worth Every Penny
I was concerned about the price of a Mustang seat for my Road Star Silverado but, on the advice of friends, I took the chance.
Wow, what a difference. Had a wonderful, LONG, ride this past weekend. This time it was the hours of the day and not the miles in the seat that determined when we stopped riding.
Worth every penny. Thanks.

|
Soft as a Baby's…
I just want to thank all of you at Mustang. You repaired a problem on my seat with no hassles or problems and it came back looking better than ever.
I will sing your praises on all the Road Star forums. I hope this brings you more business.
P.S.: Jason Xander (and passenger) like your seat, too!

Momma's Happy
The Midnight Star 1700 stock seat just sucked. My wife was in pain and hated the ride.
Now momma's happy. She loves the Mustang seat; said she didn't even know she had an ass while she was riding. The comfort is out of this world. The driver seat is also awesome. I could ride for miles and miles -- absolutely no discomfort at all.
All I can say is awesome. (Better than “____.” I know--I had one on another bike.)
Great seat, great look. A customer for life.
|
Wonderful Difference
Thank you, thank you. What a wonderful seat you make.
The difference on our 650 is huge. Thank you for the excellent product. Keep up the great work.
|
On the Comfort Bandwagon
I get comments on how great my V-Star Custom looks wherever I go. Your seat not only feels great but complements my bike's styling to an even higher degree.
In this day and age of “looks first, comfort second” you guys take a back seat to no one. I guess you have another spokesperson on your bandwagon.
Thanks for a superior product.

|
I Had No Idea
Now all I want to do is ride!! Well, that was true even before I bought a Mustang seat but now I have trouble thinking of anything else.
I guess I realized that a new seat would help keep my lower back from hurting after a long ride but, until I got your seat for my Royal Star Tour Deluxe, I really had no idea. Wow, what a difference.
When I get off the bike, my back feels just as good as it does when I get out of my car. (Isn't it a shame we still have to drive cars?)
Now I think I'm going to get one for my Harley Softail Deluxe.
Congrats on a great product.

Mustang was the Answer
My V-Star came with a factory seat and, after only 800 miles on the bike, I had to visit a doctor about some serious tailbone pains. Therapy was not the answer; a Mustang seat was the answer.
I purchased your studded seat with a driver backrest. I now have over 20,000 miles of pain-FREE riding.
Thanks to the designers of your seats and to your entire team. Without Mustang, I probably would have had to give up riding!
|
Money Well Spent
Just want to thank you all very much for forwarding a Mustang seat to me in Australia.
It's been money well spent. Makes "staying in the saddle" for long rides (6-10 hours) more enjoyable--and not getting pushed forward all the time is a big bonus.
I am more than happy with my purchase and would like to thank you for the speed of delivery. You have a product that reaches expectations.
Thank you for answering all my emails and for the great service. Much appreciated.
|
Incredible Difference
I just received the touring seat for my 650 V-Star from my local dealer Joe's Cycle Shop.
The quality is excellent but the biggest difference I noticed is the riding position the seat puts you in. Instead of having your lower back in an arch, as with the stock seat, Mustang puts you in an upright riding position.
I rode just over fifty miles with the new seat and the difference is incredible. The only problem I have with the new seat is that now I can't justify spending $16K for that Triumph Rocket I was looking at.
Thanks for a great product.

Ready to Ride Again
Five years ago I broke my tail bone. I thought all was healed until last week when I got on my new V-Star 1100 Custom.
I went on my first ride: ten miles. My tail felt as bad as the day I broke it. I thought “ I just got this new bike and now I have got to sell it because there is no way I can ride it. ”
Spent some time on the internet and found your site. I read all the claims and thought that, with your ten day return policy, how could I go wrong?
I just finished the first ride on your seat: 100 miles. No pain! I am ready to ride again! Now I love the bike. Your seat saved me money and my butt. Thank you.
P.S.: The seat even looks a hell of a lot better than the evil stock seat. Had my bike three weeks and have already put 1200 miles on it. Thanks for a great seat.
|
Pain-Free Tailbone
I have an V-Star 650 and the stock seat would start to make my tailbone hurt after fifty miles--as for 100 miles, forget it.
Last Sunday I rode 178 miles without any pain. I am so glad I got this Mustang seat! Having a pain-free tailbone is awesome!
Worth every penny! Thanks so much.

P.S.: Me and my awesome Mustang seat! I told my brother-in-law how it helped me and he just got one for his Victory Vegas!

The Eagle has Landed
Here is a pic of me and my 1100 V-Star Custom that appeared in RoadBike magazine.
P.S.: He was a polite Eagle.

A Relaxing Joy to Ride Again
I received my new seat about a month ago but I didn't want to write you until I gave it a good hard tryout.
I've put 1000 miles on the seat; what a relaxing joy it is to ride again! Not too soft, a good firm ride, and I've NEVER (did I say NEVER?) had a sore back since.
My girlfriend loves the wider seat--but the sissy bar pad should come with hook and loop to keep her from falling asleep.
The ultimate test was going to the Laughlin River Run yesterday. Gusting winds but the two of us sat strong and loved every minute of it. Even the diehard H-D riders commented on the styling and studs.
Now, my little 650 V-Star Classic looks great and rides even better. One of the things I love the most about the seat is that it doesn't "break down" like a lot of the others on the market. Very supportive and extremely comfortable. Ya'll really do make a great product.
My "arse" thanks you and so does my girlfriend's arse! What else can I say?
|
In My Mother's Arms
I recently ordered one of your seats for my V-Star 1100 and I was very surprised to find out that everything you said about the seat is true.
It is the most comfortable seat I have ever sat on. It feels like I'm in my mother's arms.
I would also like to thank your sales rep Ike for expediting my order in a timely fashion.
I promise you that I will recommend your seats to all my biking friends. Thank you.

"Cushey Tushey" Gift
My wife Donna ordered a seat for my Silverado Classic for my birthday. She composed the following poem that I thought you might enjoy.
A Birthday Poem
If your tushey
Needs a cushey
When upon your mount you ride
With your lady by your side
Not a horse
But, a Mustang, of course.
You can't beat the thrillin'
Your seat will be a feelin'
As you ride about
Your butt will scream and shout
Thank heaven for my Mustang
It's better then anything
I must tell the whole gang!
Editor's Note: Rudy wrote back a couple of months later...
We both love the seat. I really think instead of a birthday present for me, she really bought it for herself, but I'm enjoying it also. I had the same seat on the last bike I had, so once you get used to a Mustang seat, you'll always need one!

Exceeded Expectations
I just bought a Mustang seat for my Road Star Midnight. Installation was a piece of cake.
Rode it for about an hour. What a difference. It exceeded my expectations. Your seats are everything you claim they are, and then some.
Please convey my thanks to your sales rep Alex. He was very helpful and courteous.

Fits and Looks Great
Thanks. I just got the passenger seat for my Road Star from you. It fits great and looks great.
Thanks again for fast shipping.

Like Riding on a La-Z-Boy
When I first got the seat for my Road Star 1600, I put it on and went out to get chicken. It's like riding on a La-Z-Boy sofa.
Since I've had it, I have taken the bike on several three to five hour trips--something I wouldn't have done before. It makes riding very comfortable. And the wife LOVES the way you crafted the back seat. The extra width and soft padding is very nice.
I have been telling everyone who cares that I would much rather have the Mustang seat over anything “____” makes. (Since I've had both, I think I'm an expert on this.)
Great seat! Now I'm happy.
|
Lived Up to the Promises
I just had to let you know that the new fringed and studded seat for my 650 Classic is just what you said it would be.
Looks really good, fits with no problem; I get many complements. It was packaged properly, no scratches or blemishes. Most of all, I had ridden this bike for a year and a half and always got a pain in the back after about thirty to forty miles.
Now I can ride whatever distance I want with NO back pain. The design with the built-in backrest must be what makes the difference. I would highly recommend this seat to anyone who has pain from riding any distance on the standard seat.
Again, thank you from a Happy Florida customer for building the proper seat for my bike.

A Number One Priority
A while ago I purchased one of your
seats. Well, 1,200 kilometers later and it’s great. The comfort is to die for.
I wish the bike came with this as a stock item. It also really finishes off
my bike and makes it look even more eye-catching.
When I called Mustang with questions,
the technician I talked to was really helpful. It was also nice that I was able
to visit your web site and see the seat pictured on a V-Star, so I knew exactly
what it would look like installed on my V-Star 1100 Custom. (It looked much
more impressive once on my bike.)
I don’t think I will ever purchase
another bike without replacing the seat with a Mustang as a number one priority.
So, from the top of my head to my butt, thanks.

Three Years Later...
Just thought I would drop a line and once again say thanks for a truly outstanding seat. The first time I wrote you I had just completed putting on the first 1,200 kilometers on my V-Star 1100 Custom and truly loved the seat.
That was three years ago and I now have over 56,000 kilometers on my bike, thanks to some awesome road trips. All of the trips I did would not have been half the pleasure without my Mustang seat. It was the seat that allowed me to withstand those long trips.
Some of my friends liked the looks of my seat so much (and were so amazed that I was able to ride such a long time and such a long distance and not be sore) that they have gone out and purchased one themselves.
My seat still looks like the day I purchased it even after rain and the hot sun beating down on it. I still look forward to jumping in the saddle just like the day I first installed it.
My next bike which, at this rate, will not be too far off (since it seems I will be wearing out my bike before my seat) will be fitted with a Mustang seat.
|
Exceeded Expectations
I just received my new Mustang seat (part #75910) for my 1100 Silverado and the quality and comfort exceeded my expectations.
Additionally, the service that I received from your employee Rae was outstanding. She did everything that she said she would and that's just something that you don't expect to happen when you talk to a rep.
You "guys" know the formula for success. Thanks.
|
Grateful Butt
Just installed the Mustang seat on my V-Star and man, what a difference from the original seat. The riding position plus the way the seat supports my back make a substantial difference in the comfort level.
Yesterday I went on a two hour ride and did not feel any pain whatsoever in my tail bone as I had felt before. Later, while driving my car, I told my wife that the riding position on the Mustang seat felt like that on my car seat--as opposed to the old seat which felt more like a bicycle seat. Thanks from a "Grateful Butt."

The Best Seat Made
I just purchased a seat for my V-Star 1100 Classic.
I put it on, had to take a ride, rode sixty miles, then back home. It's the best aftermarket I have bought for my bike.
I wish I would have done it sooner. Now all I want to do is ride my bike all the time. It's great.
Thank you for the best seat made.

What a Difference
Received my new Mustang seat with driver backrest last week, installed it on my Road Star, and took a 250 mile trip through the Blue Ridge Mountains last weekend. What a difference it made.
Bike handles so much better and I don't slide around as with stock seat. My wife was very pleased with the wide passenger seat also.
The quality and fit were excellent, received a lot of complements. Thanks Mustang.

Riding in Comfort and Style
My wife and I purchased a V-Star 1100 Classic last summer. We put a lot of miles on it in a short time but I think we would have taken longer trips if we had had our new Mustang Studded seat on it earlier. The difference in the comfort is amazing!!
After ordering online it took one week to be delivered--awesome! I also purchased the sissy bar pad backrest and studded tank bib to match. Not only does it ride so much more comfortable for the both of us, but it added a very nice look.
I am telling everyone I know who has a bike that Mustang is the best. We're riding in style and comfort in Ohio! Thank you!

A Worthwhile Investment
My Mustang seat finally arrived today and I installed it as soon as I got it home--a very simple procedure, almost as if it was made just for my bike (grin)!
My wife and I took a short test ride and noticed the difference immediately. I was concerned that the shape of the seat would make it more difficult to get my feet down flat at stoplights, but that proved not to be the case. Also, the Mustang seat moved me forward just slightly so that I don't have to reach so much for the handlebars.
My wife is especially happy with the passenger portion. It's about half again as wide as the factory seat, and also about half again as high. The edge of the old seat was right against her sciatic nerve, so she was almost instantly in pain. The extra width of the Mustang solves that problem and the additional height makes it easier for her to see where we're going.
I'm sure this will end up being the best accessory I've added to my Silverado--which is a good thing, because it's easily the most expensive.
After less than fifteen minutes with the old seat, she was ready to quit; I was good for maybe an hour or so. Preliminary indications are that long rides will now be a real possibility, whereas they weren't before the Mustang seat.
Since riding is why we spent all the money on our bike for anyway, it looks like this is going to be a very worthwhile investment!!

Could Have Driven More
I purchased a Mustang seat for my sweet old Virago 700 a year ago.
I've ridden that beauty all day in multi-state trips and could comfortably have driven more. My bride is equally happy in the passenger seat.
Your seats are fantastic. I love my Mustang.

If You Can’t Ride in Comfort, What’s the Point?
Just a quick word to let you know how much the new Mustang seat on our Road Star Silverado has had a positive impact on our weekend quality of life.
We purchased our bike about six months ago and immediately started riding at every opportunity to places near and far. It became apparent after a couple of rides that we couldn’t go for more than an hour or so without having to stop, dismount, and allow the blood to flow back into…you know where.
We joined a GWRRA chapter from our area for a day trip into the Pennsylvania mountains. When we arrived at our destination (after three and a half hours) we couldn’t help but notice how much more comfortable and relaxed the Wing riders seemed to be than we were. We started thinking that maybe we bought the wrong bike and seriously considered moving to a Wing. If you can’t be comfortable and enjoy the ride, what’s the point?
In the process of checking things out, I came across your web site and couldn’t help but be impressed with the customer comments I read, not just from Yamaha owners, but other cruiser brands. Rather than take it in the shorts trading in a new “used” bike on another new bike, I decided to take a chance on a Mustang seat. Thank goodness.
Length of trip or time in the saddle is no longer an issue. We can now ride all day in total comfort. We can’t imagine being any more comfortable than we are now thanks to your wonderful seat. The smile on my wife’s face absolutely says it all.
The best investment we have ever made; it’s worth the money at twice the cost. Absolutely great looking and unsurpassed quality. Bravo Zulu! Never again without a Mustang seat under our butts.

My Wife Offered
to Help Pay!
Purchasing a Mustang seat for my
Road Star was the best thing I have done for my bike.
I took a 1000 mile road trip with
my wife; she loved the seat and offered to help me pay for it! Before the Mustang
seat she could only ride about thirty miles without getting sore. Now she said
she had no pain on our trip at all.
I will recommend Mustang seats to
every rider I meet. Please keep up the good work. Thanks.

Simply the Best
Your seat is one of the best things I ever bought for my V-Star
Classic! Thank you!

Positive Feedback
Enroute
Just did a roundtrip from Miami,
Florida, to Boyertown, Pennsylvania, on my V-Star 1100.
This could not be done without an
exceptionally comfortable seat. I received only positive feedback from all the
Mustang seat owners I met along the way.
Thanks for a great quality seat!

You Made a Believer
Out of Me
After much research, I recently purchased
a Mustang seat for my V-Star 1100 Classic. It was the first Mustang that my
local dealer had sold and he was impressed with your seat.
Installation took only about fifteen
minutes, including removal of the stock seat. The instructions provided were
more than adequate and the rider and passenger seat bolted up with no difficulties.
I have had the seat approximately
six weeks now and have not been disappointed. Although I do not do any long
travels with my bike, I often will ride 100-150 miles in a given day, and have
a twenty mile commute to work.
This seat is fantastic! The front
of the passenger seat provides an ample backrest for longer rides and I no longer
have a sore buttocks. My family also appreciates the much larger and more comfortable
passenger seat.
You have made a believer out of me
and I have recommended your seats to fellow riders. Great product! Keep up the
good work.

How Great it Feels
ORGASMIC motorcycle seat...YES...it is that good!!!
I was riding a V-Star 650 Classic and loving it except for one thing--the
damn factory seat was aggravating a once-broken tailbone plus the lower backaches
and pains a chunky guy in his '50's gets now and then. I was starting to curtail
my riding because of this.
I shopped both "____" and Mustang websites, but only Mustang offered
something with some decent back support as part of the package for this specific
bike.
The Mustang seat went on the bike in about twenty minutes exactly as instructed
in the packaging insert. (I could put a second one on in five minutes, it was
that easy.) Construction was superb--virtually perfect in appearance and fit.
Took my first ride with my new seat today for about forty miles of bumpy country
roads and knew instantly that this seat was built very, very differently than
the factory job.
First, I could immediately tell the pressure was spread out under both butt
cheeks and upper legs while my tail bone felt almost suspended with NO pressure
at all. This was WONDERFUL.
Next, I noticed, as many others have commented, that this seat changes your
position on the bike. You sit up more erect and, I would guess, about an inch
forward and an inch higher than the factory seat.
These position changes will take a bit of getting used to, but by the end
of forty miles I was already adapting well to them and, for the first ride
in 1,600 miles to date, there was NO tail bone and NO lower back pain. I can't
tell you how great it feels to ride without a pain in the butt--literally.
So maybe not "orgasmic" in the usual sense but I'll be a repeat
customer of YOUR Mustang Ranch for sure and will share the good word with my
biking friends.
Thank you, Mustang Folks!!

Simply Great
Just wanted to say
that I love my new studded seat with driver backrest for my V-Star 1100
Silverado! Looks great and rides great as well.

Mustang
is the Only Answer
When I took a fall last winter on a job site and was diagnosed with two potentially
collapsed disks in my lower back, I was all set to assume that my riding days
were over.
And, after just a few minutes riding my old bike (a restored '79 XS1100 Special),
the pain was unbearable.
Not willing to give up yet, I bought an XVS1100 Custom. During the test ride
it seemed fine but the day we brought it home I knew that if I were to ever
ride again I would have to do something about the seating.
After much discussing, calling, looking and comparing, the consensus of my
riding friends was to find a Mustang seat, but could I find a local dealer?
Well, it just so happened that the shop I had bought the bike from could get
Mustang, but only one model from the "Parts Unlimited" catalog. But
I knew that there were other styles available and it didn't take any convincing
at all for the owner of the shop to call you directly. In just a matter of
minutes he decided that he would become a Mustang Dealer himself.
Three days later, a brand new Mustang Touring seat arrived with my name on
the box! As soon as I got in the door we started pulling the factory "bricks" off
the XVS and, in less than ten minutes, the new Mustang seats were bolted down.
When we first sat on them my impression was "hey, this is MUCH harder
than the factory seats!" But, like it said in the Mustang paperwork, about
ten minutes into our ride home the seat seemed like it almost disappeared under
me!
I have been riding for the better part of thirty years and I have NEVER been
able to ride on any bike longer than a few hours without getting "uncomfortable" in
the saddle. But the Mustang felt so good that I decided I would stretch myself
to the limit and started out on a cross-country road trip, complete with a
chase trailer. (I would not have even started the trip without the trailer
along. My back was causing such constant pain that I was certain I wouldn't
be able to ride more than a couple hours before I would have to bail out.)
Well, I guess the only word that I can use is MIRACULOUS!! The first day I
rode more than ten hours straight! And when I got off the bike for the night,
there was no pain! For next week, riding between six and eight hours a day,
there was NO PAIN!!
Well, by the time the trip had finished, I have ridden more than 4,400 miles
with almost NO pain for the entire trip!
Mustang, you have convinced me! All those other companies with their fancy
names and their slick, sculptured and contoured seats just don't hold a candle
to what you have been able to do! (Yes, in the past I have owned some of the
others, including "____" and "______"!)
When anyone asks for my recommendation on replacement seats, MUSTANG is the
ONLY answer.
|
I Wish I had Done it Sooner
I purchased a Road Star last year and knew right away that the stock seat
would never work.
I tried a cover. Then in Daytona Beach this year I bought a "_____" seat
but it was just as uncomfortable as the stock.
Finally I did what I should have done in the first place and bought the Mustang
two-piece seat with driver backrest. I love it.
I wish I had done it sooner; I love to ride but didn't enjoy it because of
the pain.
Keep up the good work.
|
Happy
I just got my new Mustang seat for my Warrior. I can't tell you how much more
comfortable this seat is over the stock seat.
I'm happy. Thanks.
|
The Best Mod Yet
I purchased a seat for my 650 V-Star Custom. This was the best mod yet.
My fiancé can now sit for longer than twenty minutes before she needs
to stand up! Thanks alot.
|
Genuinely topnotch
I just received my passenger seat today and I must say that
I'm extremely impressed with the quality of the materials and workmanship of
your products.
When I purchased my V-star 1100 custom it already had your
wide solo seat on it and I couldn't be more pleased with the comfort, fit and
looks of the seat. My V-star and i thank you for offering such genuinely topnotch
aftermarket products. Thanks also to your sales rep George for being so helpful
and knowledgeable.
Mustang products simply blow the other stuff out there away! Keep up the
good work.
|
Absolutely Fantastic
I recently purchased one of your two-piece seats with a driver
backrest (#79190) for my Midnight Road Star.
I have owned many bikes in the past thirty-five years of riding and I have
purchased other aftermarket seats but, by far, this seat has got to be the
most comfortable I have ever owned! (This is also the best looking and best
constructed seat I have owned.)
I installed it in about twenty minutes and the first ride was
just like all your other customers stated--absolutely fantastic! I have a lower
back problem but with this seat the pain is almost nil.
Thank you, Mustang, and keep up the great work!!!

|
Don't Leave Home Without It
I'm telling everyone I know who owns a motorcycle about your seats.
I ordered my new Mustang
Vintage Wide Touring seat on a Monday and it was
delivered on Wednesday. Very
easy to install, within
five minutes I was done.
Now came the fun part. I took off on a road trip
to Atlanta, Georgia, on my 650 V-Star. Some 655 miles later (with four fifteen-minute stops for gas and a one-hour lunch stop), my butt and back
felt great.
The passenger seat is great; no complaints
at all from my cousin in Atlanta. She says "it's like sitting in your
favorite lounge chair at home."
Loving this seat--I'm ready for my
next long road trip.
This seat is worth every penny. Don't
leave home without it.

Keeping Riding Fun
I have had a Mustang on my Road Star for a few years now. What a great seat.
With the stock seat, I was good for about eighty miles of straight riding
before discomfort would set in and, once your butt is hurting, riding is not
fun anymore.
With the Mustang, I have ridden 300 miles in comfort. In fact, the Mustang
on my Road Star is more comfortable than the stock seat on my Gold Wing--which
is not a bad seat, just isn't as good as the Mustang!
My wife just got a new V-Star 1100 Custom and, after a short 200 mile ride,
there is no doubt we will be replacing the seat with a Mustang.
Thanks for making such a great product. (I just wish you guys would make a
Mustang for my Gold Wing.)
Editor's note: Sorry, Frank,
Mustang specializes in seats for Metric Cruisers and H-D only, not the Touring
market. We want to concentrate on what we do best and keep improving on it! |
What a Difference Comfort Makes!
My complements on a fine product! With slightly over 300 miles on the new
seats on my V-Star Silverado, it's none too soon to let you know what a noticable
difference being comfortable makes!
I used to constantly slide forward and my wife could hardly walk after just
a few miles on the stock seats. Now I ride in comfort and she gets off the
bike when she wants to, rather than to get the feeling back in her legs.
I read many of the customer endorsements prior to my purchase but must admit
I was skeptical. Obviously you weren't going to say or print anything negative
about your products.
No longer am I skeptical. Mustang seats are great and I'll gladly tell anyone
who asks!

Riding in Comfort and Style
My wife and I purchased a V-Star 1100 Classic last summer. We put a lot of
miles on it in a short time but I think we would have taken longer trips if
we had had our new Mustang Studded seat on it earlier. The difference in the
comfort is amazing!!
After ordering online it took one week to be delivered--awesome! I also purchased
the sissy bar pad backrest and studded tank bib to match. Not only does it
ride so much more comfortable for the both of us, but it added a very nice
look.
I am telling everyone I know who has a bike that Mustang is the best. We're
riding in style and comfort in Ohio! Thank you!

Danish
Delight
Thank you so much for the best seat ever!
Two weeks after I bought this seat we drove our XV1100 from Denmark to the
Czech Republic--1500 miles and my wife never complained. It's simply the
best!

| Sitting
on a Mustang was "Outstanding"
I belong to the Star Touring and Riding Chapter here in NJ and recently
put a Mustang seat on my V-Star 1100 Classic.
Since the weather warmed up to forty degrees, I finally got out for about
thirty minutes to try out my new Mustang seat--my, my it was outstanding!!
Can't believe the positive difference.
I have really been talking it up with my Star members and my fellow AMA
members. Thank you Mustang--a great seat!

Enjoying
More Time Together
Here in the Northlands, I've only
had a chance to ride about ten miles so far this spring and I can already
feel a major difference with my new Mustang seat. I have had back problems
in the past and the added seat support and driver backrest has helped me immensely.
The best part of purchasing this
Mustang seat and sissy bar pad is that it has allowed my wife to now ride
with me comfortably and we are able to enjoy more time together.
Before I ordered, I was
concerned that by adding the seat I would be taking away from the cruiser
look of my V-Star 1100 Custom. The look of the bike was actually enhanced and I have received numerous complements already. Thank you for an extremely
well-made product!
Randy S., Twin Cities, MN

About one month later, Randy wrote:
I've put a few more miles on the
seat and it's working out great! My wife is talking about riding along to

Ready to Ride
Just thought I would write and say
that, after my first seat on my Honda VT1100 Shadow, I just had to get
another one for my Road Star. The only thing that I can say about
your seat is there shouldn't be another seat manufacturer but Mustang.
My wife and I have ridden on a lot
of seats and the Mustang is by far the most comfortable. We will
ride more now than ever. We are going to have a baby and I will surely
recommend one to him or her--when he or she gets older.
Spring is around the corner and we
are ready to ride with Mustang.

Absolutely Fantastic
Just wanted to say that the seats, driver backrests and sissy bar pad for my Road Star 1600 arrived this morning and, guess what, they're already installed.
They look absolutely fantastic. Thanks a million. You've got a great product there.
When it's nice outside (this is the Highlands--you never know when that's going to be), I'll send you a picture. Once again, thanks a lot.

My Wife and I Fell in Love
Last summer, I purchased a V-Star 1100 Classic with the Silverado package. Everything was great until my wife and I took our first long trip to the coast of South Carolina (250 mile round trip). After the first twenty miles both our backsides were numb.
I had never heard of Mustang Seats before but I found your website and read some customer comments. I even found some specifically for my model bike. I saw the ten day return policy and took a chance and ordered some seats.
When they arrived I thought to myself that they felt as hard if not harder than the factory seats but, since I had the ten day return guarantee, I installed them. My wife and I went on a fifty mile trip and fell in love with the seats. They are more comfortable than I could have imagined.
The bottom line is does anyone out there need a set of Yamaha factory seats, barely used, in great shape? Otherwise, it's to the dumpster with them!
I have and will continue to tell everyone about your fine seats and what they did for me.
|
Best Aftermarket Money I've Spent
I purchased one of your seats for my Road Star from Houston Yamaha Motorsports.
It took a bit of getting used to (the firmness bothered me a little at first).
Fortunately, I read several posts on the Road Star Rider Forum on Delphi and
they were right.
I wouldn't consider any other seat now. All-day trips are not nearly as hard
on my backside as before. I used to look for any excuse to stop and walk around
for a few minutes; now the only reason I stop is for gas. My wife loves the
passenger seat.
Great product! It's the best aftermarket money I've ever spent!
|
Speedy Service
I just wanted to say thank you. I ordered my Mustang seat for my V-Star 1100
Custom on Monday night via the Internet and it was just delivered Thursday
morning. Now that is what I call service.
Thank you.

Christmas Comfort
Received my seat for my Virago 1100 in early December, but wrapped it up and
put it under my tree without opening the box. It was the first thing I opened
on Christmas morning and what a great gift that was!
It took only a few minutes to install. Quality and workmanship are outstanding.
We were expecting snow in the late afternoon, but I fired up my motorcycle
and went riding for a little while anyway (until I froze to death) just to
try it out.
Love it, love it, love it! Thank you so much, Mustang, for making such a great-looking
and great-fitting comfortable seat. Can't wait 'til spring!

"Ouch Less" Riding
After a twenty-five year break from riding, we bought a 650 V-Star Classic
this past spring and started again. Within a month, we bought a Mustang Vintage
Wide seat and contoured sissy bar pad.
It made such a difference in rider and passenger comfort that when we bought
our new Honda VTX 1300 Retro this month, the first items on our accessory list
were a Mustang Vintage Wide Touring seat and pad.
Your seats turn fifty mile "ouch" trips
into stop-when-we-need-gas excursions.
|
My Butt Could Have Done It All Again
A few years ago your seat and wedged
sissy bar pad for our Virago 750 were delivered to our home in England. Since
then, we have traveled many miles in complete comfort.
Recently, when my wife and I moved to France, we sent all our furniture by
a moving company but still had to transport ourselves and two vehicles. My
wife drove our MPV fully loaded and I got the best deal riding the Virago.
The journey from the ferry port
on the north coast of France to our new home was 450 miles--which we did
in one day. (I know that may not seem much
to you with your long straight roads!) When we arrived here I felt so good
my butt could have done it all again.
Many thanks for a superb product!
|
Loved by his Back, Butt and Wife
Just got your wide Vintage touring seat for my V-Star 1100.
Beautiful work, folks. Can't say enough good stuff. Fit was factory perfect.
My back loves it, my butt loves it and, just as importantly, my wife LOVES
it.
The original driver's seat wasn't bad per se (the passenger's was another
story), it's just that yours is SOOO MUCH better--like the difference between
sitting in a Kia seat vs. a BMW Z4. Dealers should just order your seat for
every bike they sell to anyone who's going to ride two up.
Enough accolades! Wife, get thee thy helmet, and let's ride!
|
My Wife Loves It
I purchased a V-Star Classic last year and greatly enjoyed the bike except
for the seat. My wife loves to ride with me but we had to stop about every
twenty-five miles for her to regain the feeling in her backside.
It had come to a new seat or a new bike. So, after looking at the aftermarket
replacement seats and reading the comments, I purchased a studded touring seat
from Mustang.
The new seat is great!! My wife loves it and she can ride as long or longer
than I can before we stop.
The looks are unbeatable. It makes the bike look larger and lower. It was
as easy to put on as the original seat. Oh yes, and the design is great too.
That built-in backrest for the driver really helps on our trips around Alabama,
Tennessee and Mississippi.
Thanks Mustang.

Recommended First
Upgrade
I had ridden my 650 V-Star
for 4000 miles and had numbness after 50 miles each time I rode. That took all
the fun out of riding.
Yesterday I received a new
Mustang seat from my local dealer. It went on very easily and looks great.
After I installed your seat
last night, I sat on it for awhile just to see how it felt. Sooooo different!
Then I just took off without telling anyone that I was leaving; I rode for several
miles with NO discomfort.
I would recommend to anyone
that the first upgrade to their V-Star should be one of your seats. Good job!

A Happy Camper Once Again
My wife and I had a V-Star Custom 650; we purchased a seat for it when a friend
recommended Mustang.
We have since purchased a Road Star
Silverado. As soon as we got it home, my wife asked how soon we would be
getting "her" Mustang seat for
the new bike.
We went to the Americade Rally and ordered it up. A few days later, the seat
came in and it was on the bike in no time. My wife is a happy camper once again.
As long as we ride, there will be a Mustang seat under us. Thanks for another
great seat.

Ride Into the Wind with a Smiling Wifey
My wife is ecstatic about the comfort
of our new seat on our V-Star 1100 Classic.
Her legs and rear end used to go numb after seventeen miles. We just finished
a fifty mile trip and she was happy and felt like going another couple of hundred
miles!
Now me, I must admit, at first I thought the seat pushed me forward a bit.
Then I rode for a while and the bike felt more balanced and seemed to handle
better, like my weight was more centered. My rear end didn't get sore and the
ride was great.
I will take this seat and ride into the wind with a smiling wifey--which means
more miles for me. Thank you Mustang.

Black Beauty
I ordered a seat for
our Royal Star "Black Beauty" last year and
have ridden over 10,000 miles on it with no problems.
My wife is even more happy on the bike thanks to the good seat.

Comfort Begins at 76!
I have been riding for sixty years and have owned thirty-three road
bikes and fifteen dirt bikes over the years.
Our Mustang wide touring seat with the contoured sissy bar pad on our
V-Star 650 Classic is the most comfortable seat we have ever had!
I am 76 years old and my wife is sixty-nine. Your seat has made it
possible to enjoy riding so much more than before. Thank you.

Editor's note: A couple years later, they wrote...
I ordered a studded tank bib for my V-Star on Monday, asked if I might
get it by the weekend and I received it today, Thursday. Now that's
what I'd call great service!
I am very pleased with the bib--as I am with the Mustang seat and
backrest--so I am proud it all says Mustang. You guys are great!
P.S.: I am 78 now and still ride about every day thanks to my Mustang
seat!

Sitting in Style
Here's a pic of me, my bike and my Mustang seat at bike week in Myrtle Beach.

|
One Picture Tells It All!

|
Twelve Hours a Day
I put a Mustang seat and passenger seat on my V-Star 1100 Classic, plus the
studded contoured sissy bar pad to match.
I just rode to Virginia, North Carolina and back in a little over a week--all
in all, about 3000 miles. I spent as much as twelve hours a day on the bike
and rode through numerous tanks of gas with no problem whatsoever.
This is undoubtedly the most comfortable seat I've ever had. Any and all bikes
I have in the future will have a Mustang seat. Thanks guys!
|
Surprising Difference
Three weeks ago, we installed a new Mustang Touring seat with driver backrest
and a wide sissy bar pad on our V-Star 1100 Silverado.
My wife and I have been surprised at the difference from the OEM seat. The
new Mustang is contoured and removes the butt-burn you get after a two-hour
ride.
I just wanted to thank you for the great workmanship and detail that you put
into your products. Keep up the good work!!

|
Putting the Fun Back
Just wanted to say I bought your wide seat for my V-Star 1100 Classic and I love it.
Thank you so much for putting the fun back into riding my bike. Maybe you could teach these bike manufactures how to build a decent seat some day.
|
A Bike Now Built for Two
Thank you so much for making my V-Star 650 a bike built for two. The first
accessory I bought for my ride was a Mustang seat, and my wife and I both love
it.
I can't imagine going back to the factory seat.

|
Dramatic Difference
Don't know why it took me so long
(two years) but I finally replaced the seat on my V-Star 1100 Classic with
a Mustang seat and I am absolutely delighted. The results were well worth
the cost.
I can see myself getting another
model bike but I cannot forsee ever being without a Mustang seat for whatever
bike I am on. The difference is that dramatic.
Thanks for helping to bring comfort
and joy back to my riding.

The Pride Shows
After reading lots of information
on aftermarket seats and then talking with lots of riders, I came to the conclusion
that I had to buy a Mustang seat for my V-Star 1100 Classic. The styling is
perfect and the fit excellent. I never realized that a seat could also change
the balance of the bike--definitely for the better!
You have done an outstanding job
and made an aftermarket seat that is many times better in every way over the
"foam-covered cushion" that was on the bike. I purchased the seat
mainly for myself, but I can't wait to see the reaction of my wife when we take
our first several hundred mile trip.
I would have no problem writing a
two-page letter on why this seat out-performs the stock seat but I've made up
my mind that I can best describe my feelings in one simple word: WOW!
American made and the pride shows--I
know I'm proud to have it on my bike and you should be proud of making a great
product. Thanks again.

Now Ride Twice the Distance
Nobody could have convinced me that
a seat could make that much difference.
I recently bought one of your seats
for my V-Star at the strong urging of some friends. Now the V-Star has a pretty
comfortable stock seat, and I was happy with it, but it does not compare to
the Mustang seat I replaced it with. The seating position and the back support
are terrific. I now ride twice the distance and can complete the ride with no
lower back pain.
This is a great improvement for an
old guy. I consider my investment in your seat money well spent. Amazing!

MMMM's and AHHHH's
My girlfriend and I were about to
make a hard 600-mile trip on my Road Star. She was complaining about the stock
seat (and her butt aches) two weeks before the trip. (I was not very happy with
the stock seat either.)
I had sat on a Mustang seat before
and I never forgot how comfortable it was. One week before the trip, I contacted
your sales rep Rae at Mustang and asked her to rush me a new Studded Seat (#75216).
As soon as it arrived, I installed it. I could hardly wait to test it out.
After my girlfriend and I made the
trip, I was very surprised that we were not the least bit saddle sore, unlike
the other couple who was riding with us on a stock seat. It was kind of pleasant
hearing the "mmmm's and ahhhh's" coming from the back seat instead
of the usual "adjectives and adverbs" I was used to hearing every
time I hit a bump.
From here on out, as long as I own
a bike, it WILL have a Mustang seat on it!
I would also like to complement
Rae on her professional courtesy. She was very helpful and pleasant to talk
with over the phone. Thank you!

The Best Investment
I purchased a Wide Studded Touring
seat from you last October. It is the best investment I've ever made!! I can
now ride my 650 V-Star without pain.
I recently rode my friend's bike
which has a "____" saddle -- I'll buy a Mustang any day!!!
Thank you for making such a wonderful
seat.

It Just Got Better
I just completed four days and 1600
miles on my new seat (#79190) and WOW, what a difference! At the twelve mile
point, it began to feel perfect and it just got better. The backrest was a life
saver.
After a couple of fourteen hour days,
carving the Sierras on my Road Star, I still felt great. This is the best investment
yet.
After 1,700 miles on a Mustang, I'm
looking forward to another 40,000 more! Thanks and best regards!

No More Back or Butt Pain
I bought your touring seat this past
April and what a difference it has made riding my V-Star 1100 Custom. Installing
the seat was a snap; everything fit perfectly. The driver backrest is also perfect--I
can now ride without low back and butt pain.
Thanks for a great product. The look it gives to the bike is exactly what I
was looking for. I would recommend it as standard equipment on all V-Stars.

Outstanding
Well---the word is growing. On the
V-Star 650 Forum, as well as other Delphi Forums, there are a number of threads
about Mustang seats with great comments! Almost everyone who has purchased one
has only outstanding comments about the workmanship and comfort.
I have just over 4000 miles on my
Classic 650 and am really satisfied with it. I can go for long hauls now with
comfort. Other comments were about the outstanding customer service. Keep up
the good work!!

Editor's Note: About a year later,
Joe wrote to us again......
Now, with over 9,000 miles of enjoyable
riding, I have to continue to say that the Mustang seat that I purchased has
made every mile a great riding experience. I have spent three full hours on
the seat at one time with no problems. Customer service is outstanding! Wish
more companies were the same way. My passengers all enjoy the miles that they
go with me.
More and more of my fellow 650 riding
friends are moving to Mustang seats.

Editor's Note: And again......
Been a few more thousand miles on
the Mustang seat (three years total to be exact) and it has been the best improvement
in comfort and style for my 650. A total of 17,000 miles and it still feels
like it did the first day I put it on the bike. An outstanding value!
I know folks who have attested to
the comfort of your seat in a 12,000 mile, three month marathon! Makes riding
as pleasurable as it should be and, as usual, customer service is top notch.
Thanks again!

Why I Waited is Beyond Me!
Why I waited a year before I got
rid of the stock seat is beyond me! I have only had my new seat on my V-Star
1100 Classic for over a month and 1000 miles now, but my question is: “Why
isn't a Mustang seat standard equipment on all bikes?”
Thanks! See ya at Americade.

Glad I Put My Butt in Your
Hands
The wait for my new seat for my 1100
V-Star Classic was well worth it and this is why………
Installation was a breeze and the
first ride was a great fit for the bike and me. During that first ride, this
thought came to me…. “I am glad that I put my butt in your hands”!
The fit is like a glove with great
workmanship and detail. I look forward to lots of road trips in comfort. Thanks.

Excellent Quality and Absolute
Comfort
I am writing to tell you what a great
seating package you have for the VStar 1100!
I am in the older, "baby boomer"
crowd, so comfort plays a big role in motorcycling fun and enjoyment. I will
recommend to anyone, especially those in their late 50's and beyond, to switch
whatever seating package they have to Mustang. They will appreciate the excellent
quality and absolute comfort. The great thing is that Mustang seating enables
you to extend your motorcycling enjoyment well into the future.
Also, thanks to your Mustang sales
rep Rae for the way in which she handled my order.

Great Customer Service
I just hung up the phone with Rae,
one of your sales reps.
I called about your Wide Vintage
seat #75217 for the Road Star and drilled her with three or four questions;
Rae answered everything I asked without any hesitation. She was a pleasure to
deal with and I went ahead and ordered the seat.
I can't wait for it to come. I've
heard nothing but good things about your company and your products. I'm looking
forward to writing back to you after a few thousand miles. Thank you for your
great customer service.

No Longer a Contortionist
No more lower backaches when riding
my 1100 V-Star Custom. Your seat solved the problem. Now I can ride all day
without having to stop and stretch and get myself reshaped to original configuration.
After my wife saw the new seat on
my bike, she whined a bit, so we're waiting for another Mustang seat to put
on her Suzuki Marauder.
Thanks for making a great seat!

Can Ride and Ride and Feel
Fine
Thank You. Thank You. Thank You.
I purchased your seat for my 750 Virago. This bike was always a fifty-miler
until I installed your product. It made it a different ride. Now, I can ride
one hundred miles and feel fine.
I wish I had found out about you
sooner! Worth the money. Thanks again.

Thought Numb Butt Was Normal
I have been riding for just a few
months now and I actually thought a numb butt was a normal thing. I'm a big
guy riding a Virago 700, a fairly small bike and I thought I would just have
to live with it.
A friend suggested that I get one
of your seats. "It will be SO much more comfortable!" he said. He
was right! I can ride for hours now, instead of just a few minutes.
Great fit (ten minutes to install),
great finish, great looks, great comfort! Thanks for a great seat! Riding long
these days...

The Ride I Always Wanted
Being a recent buyer of a Mustang
seat, I can personally state that I know I made the right decision. My V-Star
1100 Classic is now the ride that I always wanted.
Prior to my new seat, any trips over
an hour were a back and leg strain! With the new seat, I am looking forward
to the weekend long trip to the Keys.
Thank you for producing such a fantastic
product!

Lots of Lonely Days without Mom
I'm relatively new to riding. I've
spent the past two months on my V-Star 650, putting on almost 4,000 miles wearing
a kidney belt.
Now I feel like I could ride forever.
What a difference a great seat makes.
My riding crew said that when I bought
my Mustang seat, my husband and kids were in for lots of lonely days without
Mom--until they can ride with me, that is. Thanks!
|
No Competition
I was a hard one to convince, but
everything about a Mustang seat is great--the comfort and especially the style.
Thanks for the super product. I now have true comfort on my V-Star 650.
You have no competition. Thanks so
much.

Everything and More
Got our order on Christmas Eve and
the seat for our 1100 V-Star Classic was everything the article in "Motorcycle
Cruiser" magazine said it was and more.
It has made a huge difference in
the ride. My wife now enjoys our longer trips--before we just could not ride
for more than a hour or so. A great product and money well spent. See you on
the road.

Why Did I Wait So Long?
Why did I wait so long? That's all
I can say to myself after purchasing your Wide Studded seat.
I have had my Road Star for almost
a year and have continued to purchase chrome and extras, but wouldn't spring
for a seat. I just wish I waited on the goodies and went for the seat, because
it is the most comfortable and good looking seat I have sat on.
The back support is unbelievable,
seeing that I have had back problems for the last five years. I just took a
128 mile ride last night and I never had to move or adjust my body position
once. It was so comfortable; my butt fit the seat perfectly.
I let my friends ride my bike and
two of them have already ordered a seat from you, if that tells you anything.
So thank you for your quick shipment and your quality built products.

Mustang Makes All the Difference
My wife and I want to thank you for
your fine product. We have an 1100 Classic and our new Mustang two-piece seat
and passenger backrest have made all the difference in the world.
My wife really enjoys going on rides.
On the old seat, she was fatigued after only forty-five minutes in the saddle.
Now, she can go the distance. As for me, what a comfortable ride I now have.
The increased back support and saddle shape leaves me without the lower back
or tailbone soreness that my old seat gave me.
I just wish that I had made the change
earlier.

This Seat Rocks!
You guys customized my bike. This
seat rocks! Its awesome! My Virago 700 will be twenty years old in a couple
of years, but this Mustang seat makes it look and feel new again!
If you could put this secret in a
bottle, Id buy it, too. Keep up the good work. Thanks!
|
The Finishing Touch
This seat feels as if it was intentionally
designed for my forward foot controls. The angle is perfect and the look is
just what I needed for the finishing touch on customizing my V-Star Custom "Feathered
Serpent."

What A Difference
Just received my new Mustang seat last
week for my V-Star Classic. Only took twenty minutes to remove the stock seat
and install yours. Wow, what a difference your seat makes--no more sore a** (um,
I mean, no more sore backside). I am so glad I made this purchase. I love it.
I plan to ride for many years and will always purchase one of your fine products.
Thanks.

As Long as I'm Sitting on that
Seat
All I can say is thank you! I bought
a new Wide Studded seat and it is wonderful! My girlfriend came by as I was
putting it on (which took all of ten minutes) and she could not wait to go riding.
My old seat was fine for short trips
to and from work but any extended riding time was really rough on the butt.
Now, I will go out to the shop, tinker with something, and just sit on my bike.
It doesn't matter if I'm riding or not, as long as I am sitting on that seat.
I will recommend Mustang to anyone
looking to replace their stock seat with something more comfortable. Thanks
again!

Feels Like You're Part of the
Motorcycle
This seat is great on my V-Star 1100
Custom. It makes you feel like you're part of the motorcycle rather than just
riding on it.
Thanks!

A Great Cheek Couch
I have a V-Star 1100 Classic. My
wife loves to ride with me but her butt would get numb after thirty to forty-five
minutes. I could feel her shifting every ten minutes.
I said, "That's it!" and
I threw on a Mustang for her. Bingo! |
