Inside Sales Representative

 

 

Position Overview

The Inside Sales Representative must be self-motivated, pro-active, detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills.  Business targets will be achieved through excellent telephone sales and communication skills.  This individual will also develop their phone-based revenue generation through creation of sales leads, initiation of prospect calls and establishment of ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers.   Other duties include maintaining a thorough, up-to-date knowledge of company products, programs and assisting customers with any related paperwork involved with the sale.  Integrity, teamwork, vision and passion are also essential for this role.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·         Effectively manage and market assigned dealer relationships to achieve quality, pricing

 and volume objectives

·         Handle existing client relationships while actively pursuing new opportunities

·         Make follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to

cross sell and up sell company products

·         Call prospective customers to establish buying cycles, customer needs and create a

customer supplier relationship

·         Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales

·         Address dealers who are not performing and follow up with them regularly to ensure

company objectives are being met

·         Overcome technical and business objections from prospective customers

·         Provide product demos to qualified customers on request

·         Quote prices, credit terms and prepare sales orders

·         Secure and place orders while taking into account the delivery dates and inventory

 levels for fulfillment

·         Prepare business transaction reports

·         Enter data for new and current customers into database

·         Analyze dealer specific data for efficiency, profitability and dealer performance 

·         Work with Sales Management on said dealer specific data for instruction and appropriate action

·         Monitor and report on all relative trends affecting both the dealer market, retail market

 and the industry to include executing annual sales strategy

·         Increase sales in respective accounts and prepare sales information for customers

·         Establish buying influences, budgets and purchasing criteria for assigned accounts

·         Stay abreast of competitive information and analysis

·         Perform other duties as assigned or requested by Sales Management  

 

 

Job Requirements

·         High School Diploma or GED

·         Minimum sales experience of 2 – 4 years; motorcycle parts & accessory sales experience a plus

·         Proficient in MS Office; MAS 200 is a plus

·         Knowledge of customer service principles and practices

·         Demonstrate effective negotiating and decision making skills and closing techniques   

·         Attention to detail for all projects and tasks

·         Possess strong planning, organizing and prioritizing skills

·         Ability to analyze and make decisions with information at hand    

·         Complete clear and concise written and verbal communications

·         Discretion required when dealing with confidential information

·         Must have initiative to work independently as well as in a team environment

·         Travel may be required to attend trade shows

Operations Manager

 

Mustang Motorcycle Products, the worldwide leader in motorcycle seat manufacturing is seeking an individual to provide support to Operations Management to insure the smooth flow of production between various departments.

 

POSITION SUMMARY

Effectively manage and direct production activities personally and through subordinate D.C. Managers. The Operations Manager will be guided by the Company's Vision statement, policies, and procedures.  The Operations Manager is responsible for production results, security, safety, inventory integrity, facility maintenance and maintenance of all equipment and supplies required to operate the manufacturing site.  The Operations Manager ensures that all production employees are thoroughly trained in safety and manufacturing procedures.  The Operations Manager will monitor employee performance ensuring that procedures and standards provided through the training process are followed.

 

Essential Functions:

·         Supervise and direct production department’s activities.

·         Coordinate scheduled production in order to maintain a steady flow of components required to meet production goals.

·         Identify and correct capacity issues in order to increase throughput.

·         Maintain and provide quality assurance of product and paperwork accuracy.

·         Responsible for Inventory Control – ensure accuracy of scrap and waste minimization, production lists, etc.

·         Ensure effective employee relations. Provide employee coaching and development. Makes employment decisions. Resolve employee issues through problem resolution.

·         Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.

·         Focus on continuous improvement in all areas.

·         Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provide regular progress reports to manager.

·         Perform accident investigations.

·         Manage department priorities.

·         Track absenteeism and timekeeping and ensure consistent application of Company attendance standards.

 

Education and Experience:

·         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

 

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·         The ideal candidate would have experience in manufacturing functions as well as 3 - 5 years front line supervisory background.  Strong effective communication skills throughout organization.  Proficiency in Microsoft Applications.  Must be a self-starter that takes ownership of work responsibilities and projects as related to role.  Must be able to multi - task and prioritize workload.  Able to work well under pressure in order to meet production deadlines.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

1.      Works in office conditions and manufacturing environment.

2.      Periodic to frequent travel, as required.
